87 4x4 won't start...help please...21 Aug 2004 23:21 GMT1
Hi all.  I have an 87 4x4 that won't start.  First the truck had a 22R, now its
home to a Chevy 350 w/ NV4500.  I did the swap about 4 years ago and haven't
had this problem until about 2 weeks ago.  Turn the key and the solenoid would
chatter but not engage the starter everytime.  ...

I'm doing a straight axle conversion on an 88 Toyota pickup using an
axle from an 84 diesel pickup. I've been told I can use the disc brake
calipers from my 88 on the earlier axle if I use Land Cruiser rotors.
Any idea what year FJ rotors I should be looking for? Either way, ...

side seat with a bucket seat?  Where could I get one from?

Toyota Pick-up 1989 Blower Speed Control Unit19 Aug 2004 01:51 GMT10
I am unable to control the speed of the blower; either it is off or it runs
at full blast. The intermediate speeds are not operating. The selector
contacts are OK. I have to assume that the speed control unit is faulty.
