I got an 04 Tundra SR5 4WD regular cab in July and love it (best vehicle I've ever owned) but I do have a couple of questions: 1. in reading posts to the group, I've seen mentions of changing the timing belt at 60,000 - 70,000 miles. Is this a problem with Toyotas and, if so,

| Possible to lower start fast idle speed on 3.4? | 29 Sep 2004 00:23 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone know if it's possible to lower the fast idle speed on a 3.4 in a 2002 Tacoma? Every time I start the engine, regardless of engine temp, the engine idles at about 1700 rpm, then slowly comes back to normal idle speed. Thanks for any info.

| 1999 4Runner 4Cyl transmission conversion man -> auto | 23 Sep 2004 15:42 GMT | 3 |
Has anyone replaced a manual transmission with an automatic one on a 1999 4Runner with 4 cylinders? If so, can you tell me if it was worth the effort. I would like to do it for the convenience, but, I know the manual transmission might be a little stronger.
