TundraSolutions - HELP!18 Sep 2004 11:08 GMT1
If there are any administrators from Tundra Solutions reading this, I need
help.
I tried to change my email address yesterday, and now when ever I log in, I
get taken to a page that says:
92 Toyota PU 2WD - spring height ?????18 Sep 2004 04:07 GMT1
How can I find out the spring height on my 92 Toyota PU 2WD.
Obviously it has LEAF springs.
I use a tape measure to measure DOWN from the center of the UPPER part of the
wheel well to level ground and get 27 inches.
Turbo or Supercharger?17 Sep 2004 19:38 GMT3
I am trying to decide whether I want to spend $4400 on a turbo, or spend
$2500 on a Supercharger...  I love my taco and i want it to be perfect.  I
dont off-road much and i want overall speed.  I sometimes want to be able
to tow a small trailor full of motorcycles when I need to.  I ...
Brake help17 Sep 2004 05:59 GMT1
I have a 1988 Toyota pickup, 4cylinder 4x4. My brakes are soft and when I
push the pedal all the way down it barely stops the truck. I have checked
the pads and nothing is leaking brake fluid and I have bleed the brakes 3
times now. Anyone really experianced with brakes may be able ...
Tailgates, winches.17 Sep 2004 05:06 GMT1
All:
Is the Tacoma tailgate "officially" removeable?  If not, is its
removal pretty straightforward?  I ask because I may have to slide some
fairly hefty machinery (payload capacity) on/off the bed, which I'm sure
CBS Goes To Far17 Sep 2004 00:11 GMT10
I don't know how many of you know that Dan Rather and 60 Minutes (CBS News)
ran a story attacking George Bush and his time in the National Guard.  One
of the basis points of this attack garbage where documents which have now
been determined to be forgeries!  Rather than admit to ...
Cap for power steering reservoir 2002 tacoma 6cyl sr5?16 Sep 2004 22:41 GMT1
Does anyone have a clue where to get one of these?  I tried all the
usual suspects - napa and 15 other auto parts stores... and nobody
had.  Oh, Toyota had one - special order - pre-pay for $27 !!!!!!!!!!!
Is that my only option... or tracking down one thru a junkyard?
Chirping noise from 03 Tundra16 Sep 2004 13:40 GMT2
Hello to all, I have a 03 Tundra access cab that is making a noise
that is quite hard to explain, so be patient.  It is coming from under
the truck, and if Ihad to guess, I would say it is coming from the
exhaust somewhere.  I don't hear it all the time, and it seems to
tonneau cover16 Sep 2004 05:21 GMT6

brake pad shift15 Sep 2004 20:31 GMT1
I just installed some new ceramic pads on my standard 2x4 98 SR5 V6.  I hear
an occasional clanking sound which I'm told is brake pad shift.  Is there
any economical solution to this problem?  Supposedly there's some kind of
dampening grease but it's $80 for a small tube!
22RE engine cranks but not start15 Sep 2004 16:09 GMT2
Has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks.  Pull a plug wire to check for
spark, and it starts, or just wait a couple of hours and it starts.  Always
runs fine once started, and cranks strong.
Any common failures on the 95 pickups with this engine?

fender flares on 99 4runner?15 Sep 2004 03:04 GMT3
can anyone tell me if I can get color coded fender flares made in todays
market that will fit a 99 4runner? Haven't bought the 4run yet but
anticipate purchasing it if I can find fender flares paintable or same
color? I am new to toyotas.  Also, what about timing chain replacement?
Truck vs. car engines14 Sep 2004 23:49 GMT2
All:
Seems that the EPA gas mileage in truck engines (4x4) is pretty
miserable compared to cars; also the hp.  For example, the 3.3, 3.4 L v6 in
either the Tacoma or Frontier is about 180/190 (16/20 mpg), but the 3.5 L v6
My New Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab14 Sep 2004 05:04 GMT1
I just purchased my first truck ever and naturally it was a Toyota,
(my ninth Toyota vehicle purchase in a row).  I traded in a 2001 Echo
with 96000 miles on it, (can you believe I got $6k on the trade?!).
I got an '02 Tacoma Double Cab 4 door, SR5, chrome exterior, 4x4, V6,
