Rod Bearings03 Sep 2004 15:56 GMT1
I just opened the box of 22re replacement rod bearings and the new ones have
2 oil smaller holes in each instead one. One does line up with the port
on the rod and they otherwise appear to be the right bearings but...
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this.

First off, thanks in advance for any replies.
I need new tires for my 97 4Runner 2wd.  The majority of my driving is paved
road/highway, but sometimes I do go off road.  I've pretty much got it
narrowed down between a set of Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos or a set of

Can anyone tell me if it is worth it to get the shell for the Tacoma?
Or would it be better getting an after market one?

pieces went into the transmission. He replaced the ...

Stampede truck shells...what happened to them?03 Sep 2004 01:42 GMT1
Back in the mid 80's I got a shell for my toyota truck with the brand name
"Stampede."  It was made out of a durable, lightweight material.  My shell
is about 75 lbs, as opposed to fiberglass shells that are close to 200 lbs.
I've been thinking about buying another toyota truck, ...

This is a constant noise when it's running in 5th... still shifts

I have been having a ongoing issue with the brakes. They pulsate when I

I try not to spill my drink. 10k ago, I had them checked out and the back
How do clutches fail? fast or slow?01 Sep 2004 17:00 GMT11
I was told by my tech that my clutch is about 75% worn, during last work
done. 1995 3.0 V6 w/ 135K on it. I do not tow anything and usually drive on
road, very little off road. Usually very light loads like bicycle and
camping gear. Should I expect my clutch to fail quickly and ...
Sick Roadrunner (The Bird) Sound01 Sep 2004 13:53 GMT2
On a decibel scale from 1 - 130, the horn on my '85 SR5 Extra Cab Pickup
rates about a 25.  It sounds an awful lot like a weak roadrunner.
I've only had the truck for a couple of years and it sounded like that
since I bought it so I don't know if that's the way that the geniuses ...
