I did a timing chain with my new timing chain kit on my 1994 toyota 22re engine, and i did it over almost 10 times! I keep coming up short on TDC just about a half a tooth left or right on my cam gear (dot to arrow). My crank gear is at "0" TDC at all times. I tried all variations! ...

Small electrical problem since I bought the Truck new. When I turn on the defroster to MAX clockwise, Vent adjuster, ( not temperature ) the Air Conditioner comes on, Is that normal ? Thanks

I have a'94 Toyota Pickup, 4x4, 22re engine, 194K miles, with broken timing chain. I am willing to deal with a chain kit, etc., and any other damage inside the timing cover but not if there is valve/piston damage, too.
