I just bought a 2000 Tundra that has the VIP system. It didn't come with the remotes so I went to Toyota and bought two of the two button remotes. After they programmed them it seems to work. The horn sounds if the door is opened and the alarm is set. The piezo? sounds if the ...

| EFI fuse blowing (91 4Runner) | 24 Nov 2004 13:22 GMT | 3 |
This problem started last Saturday. I take this 4Runner on weekend errands and the like, and it's been no problem at all. (I also drive it in the snow, which makes the current situation slightly more urgent than if this happened in June.)

The last couple of times that I turned on the heater in my '85 SR5 Extra Cab pickup, I could smell the faint aroma of antifreeze. This leads me to believe that my heater core has sprung a leak. I only get the smell for the first couple of minutes of use and then it goes away ...

| Toyota 4runner gear shifting problem | 23 Nov 2004 05:10 GMT | 3 |
I own a 91 Toyota 4runner and recently I have some weird gear shifting problem. Sometimes when I start the car and shift the Gear to either H2 or H4 the car does not move at all, when I shift the gear to 4 Low, then the car moves in all gear positions (1,2,D and R). Usually, after

| iridium spark plugs | 23 Nov 2004 03:43 GMT | 5 |
I am considering trying out iridium plugs for my '95 2.7 tacoma - does anyone recommend one brand over another? I know Denso and NGK both sell iridiums. Denso's are quite a bit more than NGK's however, leading me to believe there might be a difference in quality/performance ...

| Changing spark plugs- 4 cyl 2RZFE ? ? | 23 Nov 2004 03:41 GMT | 1 |
I WAS thinking about changing the plugs on my Taco. However, there is an assembly that goes over the plugs that I don't know anything about and suggests there's more to this than I thought. Is changing the plugs on this engine best left to a mechanic? I'm basically
