Tuned up my old 1985 toyota truck today10 Nov 2004 13:34 GMT3
Truck is a 2WD 22R and has 240,000 miles on it, so time for a 30,000

repack the front wheel bearings, and he did a complete brake job too.

How do I adjust the idle on a '95 Toyota PU w EFI ?10 Nov 2004 04:06 GMT2
Do is the idle adjusted on a 1995 Toyota pu ?  It has a 22RE four
cylinder in it.  It had been idling a bit low ~650 and I had it in to
a shop and they tweaked it, so now it is roaring at ~1500 when cold
and 1100 when hot - I think ~800-850 would be more like it...

WE have a 4 Runner that the brakes are very sensitive. The brakes work

2000 4Runner oil filter change messy09 Nov 2004 13:53 GMT2
I have had my 2000 SR5 4Runner since new and haven't had to change the
oil and oil filter myself until now.  The oil filer is hard to get to
since I found no service opening in the driver side wheel well. After
changing the oil filter, oil spills into the pan that protects the motor

The Toyota dealer parts personnel in my area state they have received
conflicting information from Toyota regarding the use of TRD air filters

Since the tank is 24.6 gals, assume there was about 3 gals left.  The manual
said to fill up an 1/4 tank level, but I just wanted to ...

1996 4Runner Heater Troubles07 Nov 2004 00:28 GMT1
The wife came home today and said the heater isn't working in our 96
4Runner (SR5 V6 AUTO).  Sure enough, the air coming out of the vents is
luke warm at best.  However, the rear passenger heat is still working
great.  I popped the hood and checked that the heater temp control valve

Opinions on lifting an '85 Toyota Pickup?06 Nov 2004 05:15 GMT7
I want to lift my 85 toyota pickup 4x4, but i have heard a lot of
different opinions about that modification.  Some say the truck is
best left alone while others are all for the lift.  Under normal
circumstances I would keep the truck with the stock suspension, but my
