Bigger Toyota truck?06 Dec 2004 21:18 GMT1
I noticed that Toyota advertises some of their trucks with a new T logo. I
guess they are ramping up for the new bigger Toyota truck. Anyone know when
this truck might be available for sale? Also, will this truck be made in the
US or Japan (I heard US - but I am hoping some ...

Problems with proportioning valve on 89 4x4 22re06 Dec 2004 14:18 GMT5
While getting an emission inspection, I discovered that my rear brakes
were not working.  After checking my lines back from the rear drum, I
discovered that I am not getting in pressure from the proportionng

Replacing 1990 4Runner brake lines06 Dec 2004 02:45 GMT2
Does anyone in the group have any recommendations or comments with regard to
replacing rusted out steel brake lines on a 1990 Toyota 4Runner?
I did some checking and found that there are stainless steel braided hoses
available, which isn't what I need to replace, and also that there ...
Just bought my first toyota... 1999 Tacoma, questions05 Dec 2004 23:41 GMT6
Hi all, I finally own a toyota truck! And it rocks (although I have
only owned it for about... 2 hours)
It is a Tacoma, pre-runner ext cab, less than 50,000 miles on it, no
4x4, and only a 4 cyl... okay, it is weak, but I still like it.
4Runner seatbelt doesn't retract05 Dec 2004 17:17 GMT6
Have a 97 4Runner, 125k miles. Seatbelt doesn't retract very well -- when I
take it off it only takes up about half the slack unless I carefully ease it
back, which is a PITA. Ordered a new one from the dealer but service said
that even the new seat belts are poor at retracting.  ...
'87 diesal Land Cruiser good?05 Dec 2004 10:27 GMT4
I'm thinking of buying an '87 Land Cruiser, with ~417,000km, which seems
high, but I've heard these trucks will go a long way, and I was wondering
how much more mileage can I expect from one of these?
Thanks to all who can help.

'00 Tundra: O2 Sensor location?03 Dec 2004 20:58 GMT3
Hello, can someone please tell me exactly where the four sensors are?
When looking at the diagnostic codes, they say "bank 1, sensor 1",
"bank 1, sensor 2", "bank 2, sensor 1", and "bank 2, sensor 2". So I
guess I'd like to know if bank 1/2 is left/right side, and sensor 1/2
Intermittent Heating Problem03 Dec 2004 16:16 GMT2
My heater doesn't get hot.  It gets moderately warm and then goes back to
cool then back to warm etc...
My truck is an '85 SR5 Extra Cab with a 22RE engine.  I installed a new
Nipon 88/192 degree thermostat but it didn't make any difference.
