I have a 1981 Toyota Pickup, that backfires thru the exhaust when it is just below normal operating temperature, (Timing checks good,new spark plug/wires etc). like to know what could be the problem?

can anyone tell me where the heater blower fam resitor is located and how to install it in a 1989 toyota 4X4. My fan only runs at top speed and I think this is the reason. It;s a 1989 4X4. It belonged to my dad and he did some funny things with wiring etc over the years. The map ...

Sorry if this posted twice, I never saw the first post. My running/parking lights in the front are no longer working. I haven't been able to locate the proper fuse in the driver-side kick panel or under the hood. All four lights quit on me at the same time,

I just saw a video of Denver in winter where a line of traffic is hitting ice. Each car in turn slams on their brakes only to slam into the car ahead of them. Has anyone ever tried putting bumper deployed airbags or cars or trucks?

If I had to guess it locks the rear end gears and keeps them from slipping? Or does is lock something up front? If it does lock the rear. Will it work in 2wheel drive also? I don't have a manual. I have one coming but looks like it will be

I've owned a 92 and now a 99 4Runner. Both vehicles have brakes that freeze at very cold temps i.e.: minus 26C. No matter how hard you press on the pedal, NO BRAKES !!!! Pump them a few times and it is as if something releases and the pedal will go down as normal and brakes work. ...

The inside rear view mirror on my 98 T100 won't stay put. A little bump or vibration and I'm looking at the inside of the tailgate. Does anyone know a trick to stiffen the mirror (short of replacing the whole assembly)? Thanks in advance,

Would someone tell me if I can wire my blower motor directly to the battery? Toyota wants $125.00 plus taxes for the resistor for the heater. thanks,
