I have an 88 toyota 2wd pickup long box with a 2 piece drive shaft.

stumbling 91 4Runner06 Jan 2005 21:24 GMT3
Hi group,
I'm a new member with a 91 4Runner V6 4x4 that I've owned since 2001.
It now has 170k miles.  I have a problem with it and I've had no luck
diagnosing it on my own.  Maybe others in the group have also had this
Clutch Questions ('89 P/U) and a Clutch Story06 Jan 2005 18:12 GMT3
I have a 1989 model Toyota Pickup w/ 22RE engine and W56 tranny. However, my
truck was manufactured in Sep 1988. That's where things get tricky. Because
apparently, Toyota made significant changes between 1988 and 1989.
To me, a 1989 model vehicle is a 1989 vehicle. But I've had ...
Fuel door06 Jan 2005 16:58 GMT1
My 2004 DC Tacoma didn't come with a locking fuel door
or gas cap. What's up with that?
I thought that was a pretty standard feature anymore, but I should have
looked closer when I was buying so I could tell them to install the

I have a 1996 3.4L V6 4Runner with has 155000km on it.  I recently noticed
that there is a ticking noise coming from the engine compartment on the
drivers side.  I can not hear the noise in the car...I have to be standing
outside.  From what I can tell it does not increase in ...
problems with tundra brakes06 Jan 2005 07:31 GMT4
Hello, 2 months ago I purchased a 00 tundra and have been well pleased
with it except the brakes keep warping the rotors. I had them turned
twice by a very reputable shop and he is at a loss to explain why they
keep warping. I have read quite a few horror stories about the brakes on
Vibration in 05 Tacoma trany at stop06 Jan 2005 00:10 GMT1
I am new here, so if this has been discussed please point me in the
right direction.
When I am sitting at a light in drive, a vibration starts to build as
the longer I sit.  It gets going real good after a while.  So I slip
05 Tacoma trailer wire harness05 Jan 2005 22:56 GMT4
I didnt buy the tow package with my new 05 Tacoma access cab.
Does anyone know if there is a connector for a trailer wire harness
already installed on the tail light harness?
I have not been able to find a 05 after market wire harness yet.
Normal???...05 Jan 2005 22:15 GMT2
I've noticed when I changed my oil('87 22RE) that there's a small spot of
whitish, oily slop on the bottom of the filler cap. After cleaning it out
and driving it a few days the spot returns. The engine doesn't smoke, lose
water, or seems to get any extra "oil" into it on its own so ...

Just got rid of that piece of sh.t Z71 and got a 03 Tacoma ex-cab, V6,
SR5, TRD, 5-speed manual.  So I will be visiting this group often.
Would like to buy a grill guard, maybe winch bumper, " don't care for a
winch though"  I prefer a black one. Would like one that I could mount
22refi tuneup - sluggish at low rpm, surges04 Jan 2005 23:57 GMT4
After warming,  Its slow and surges as you accelerate, then when it
gets up some revs, it goes better. Milage is 22 mpg or so. it runs
better when its cold, for a few minutes, then goes a little lean
maybe?? when it warms up.  It starts good, 85k
Tundra turn signal problem04 Jan 2005 21:52 GMT3
My turn signals just started acting funny. I noticed it after towing my boat
but doubt if that's a cause of the problem since I've towed it often in the
past.
Now when I turn on either blinker, both blinkers come on. It looks like the
'98 Starter - Yeah, another one...03 Jan 2005 22:42 GMT7
Sorry for what is probably a repeat post, but after reading through all the
posts on starter issues I could find, I couldn't find one with my exact
issues.
Apologies if this has been answered before.

in about 4 months i was wondering if it is even legal to have a car seat
in a truck? My truck only has small fold down seats in the back, so this
would be to hard to have a seat back there. I am not sure if ...
