Well, I've had my 2004 Tacoma Prerunner, 2WD (with TRD package) for about a month now. Here's my early impressions of it. This is the first truck I've owned in years after nothing but 4-door sedans, the last being a Mitsubishi Diamante.

| Alas, alack and alay | 26 Feb 2005 22:21 GMT | 1 |
I can't buy a new Prerunner like the one I have now. Mine is an '01 regular cab and I'm told I can't get a 6-cyl without getting an extended cab. And to top it all off, my Leer topper won't fit on the new bed! That damned topper cost me nearly a grand! And I'll wager I won't get ...

Our 1996 Landcruiser has electric windows that move very slowly. Sometimes we wonder if they will close! Is this normal in Landcruisers or do we have some loss of electrical power to the window motors? Thank you.

Twice now when traveling down a highway, from a high altitude to a lower, my fuel gage went from 3/4 full to below empty, then return to 3/4. None of the other gages have erratic readings during this time. Anyone notice the same thing happening?
