You never answered the (other's) question of whether or not you got the
composite bed. If you did, is it slick? Rhino will keep stuff from
sliding around stacked one layer. The second layer will still slide on
the one below and so on. If you aren't going to have a cab wall tool

What Did I do? 04 tacoma05 Feb 2005 05:20 GMT1
Hey guys, just wondering whats going on. I tried to wire up a trailer
harness on my 04 toyota tacoma (did not have a factory) i used just a
standard plug. I spliced the wires in the rear of the truck, like I did on
any other vehicle I owned. Before i even plugged it in to the ...
O/D light blinking in '90 4Runner05 Feb 2005 03:47 GMT1
Looks like my previous message got lost or deleted. Can anyone suggest what
to look for when O/D light comes on and off once the engine warms up but
driving seems normal, i.e no gear hunting. Speedometer also stoped working
once this blinking started. Could it be low liquid level in ...

on my '96 4runner when someone slams a door and the window on that door is
partially open, it rattles really bad as it seems loose in it's track and
i'm afraid that eventually something will break.
is there anyway to tighten the window so that it won't bang around like
Learn from me!  What kind of oil sensor do you have?04 Feb 2005 08:52 GMT7
I pretty much ruined my young engine (214K miles).  Here's what happened.
I'm not a professional, and please excuse me if I do not use the correct
terms.
As I understand it, there are three types of oil sensors:
old tape stripe removal04 Feb 2005 03:44 GMT5
91 4-Runner, that terrible oxidizing fire-engine red paint. The typical tape
stripes, kind of a fading white stripe. These weren't pretty (IMHO) to begin
with but at this age they look pretty crappy, I'm wondering how much fun I'd
have removing them. I'm assuming it would be a ...

<MIKE> Re: 85 22re poor start03 Feb 2005 14:26 GMT2
Thanks for reply.
The choke plate is not closing. I also tried with ignition on.
It seems to be locked in open position, because when I try to
force it closed, it will not move. When I have more time I will
Engine Misfire 3.4L03 Feb 2005 11:06 GMT2
I have a 1999 Tacoma 3.4l that has had a miss for quite awhile now. Plugs
and wires have been replaced with no change. Just went for a ride with the
local mechanic who hooked up with  an anylizer and found that one bank of
cylinders is the source of misfire, Cylinders 1,3,5 with ...
'88 HJ60 Automatic 330'km - what to check?03 Feb 2005 06:05 GMT2
I may get the chance of owning a 1988 HJ60.
This one has 330.000km on it and runs fine (well, the frame is almost
done, but I can fix THAT).
I'm wondering what to check out with the A440F automatic gearbox - shall
Resolved - coolant issue03 Feb 2005 04:46 GMT2
Found the issue.  There was a piece of metal jammed in the thermostat.  This
piece of metal was in the shape of a roughly hewn washer, about 2 1/2 inches
in diameter.  It flowed through the system and tried to flow through the
thermostat when it was open. It forced the thermostat ...

I had a nice 87 Tacoma 2WD that I slid into a ditch, hit a concrete driveway
and flipped it onto the driver's side. (sorry to all you taco lovers) I am
either looking to buy one for parts that I can rebuild mine from or sell
mine for parts if I cannot. The frame is bent on the ...
