| 1986 1 ton automatic and 1988 | 15 Apr 2005 00:48 GMT | 2 |
I have found a great little 1986 1/2 Ton pickup with a good engine and not too bad body for a very good price. I love my 86 and want to keep it going as long as possible. Will enough parts interchange between this and my 1986 to make it worth buying for parts?

| 05 Tundra V6 making odd noise between 56-60 MPH. Dealer says cant fix. | 15 Apr 2005 00:43 GMT | 8 |
I have a 05 Tundra reg.cab that has 2500 miles on it. I really like the truck, gets fantastic gas mileage but since it had about 200 miles has made this very annoying noise when you get to a steady 56 mph. It is a constant exhaust/engine/driveline resignating noise. It is a constant

| 22RE question... | 15 Apr 2005 00:07 GMT | 3 |
Is it normal for a 22RE fuel injected "new"(< one year old) engine to sound like it has a toddler under the hood shaking a rattle? The motor sounds fine when it's first started but as it warms up and you rev it you can really hear it, particularly when it returns to idle. When the ...

| towing capacity - 2005 Tacoma 6Cyl 6Sp 4x4? | 14 Apr 2005 05:56 GMT | 3 |
I've seen lots of references to the 2005 Tacoma being able to tow 6500 lbs with a towing package, with the V6 and auto - but what is the towing capacity if you get the V6, with the 6 speed manual tranny, and it's a 4x4? I don't necessarily trust the answer I'll get if I call

I have a 2000 tundra (a real gas hog but that's not the point here). How do I get to the under dash lights to replace bulbs. In particular, those behind the heater and vent controls do not light and I think I need to replace bulbs but can't get at them. I assume that the plastic ...

| Burning Ethenol Fuel | 12 Apr 2005 04:58 GMT | 8 |
I just drove past a gas station that is is offering Ethenol based fuel for $1.95/gal (.20 less than regular unleaded). I ran some a few weeks ago and everything seemed to run fine, is there any harm in running this in my truck (2004 Tundra)?

| 2004 Tacoma check engine light, 100 miles | 10 Apr 2005 13:50 GMT | 9 |
I've owned this 2WD double cab Tacoma for three freakin' days, and the check engine light turns on about when I hit 100 miles on the odometer. I tightened the gas cap. Is there any other reason why this light could have come on so early??

| Windshield Wiper Problem | 09 Apr 2005 22:21 GMT | 3 |
The fast speed on my windshield wipers quit. The low speed works just fine and the intermittent part works good but the fast speed just doesn't do anything. As a matter of fact if you go from low speed to high speed the wipers just stop where they are when you get to the high ...

| 2004 4Runner Oil Change Report | 09 Apr 2005 08:03 GMT | 1 |
Well, I got it done. I removed both skid plates. Yes, Bill, they are metal skid plates. As it turns out, I really didn't have to remove them, but there is know way of knowing that until after I had. The forward plate has a bracket so that when

| 91 4runner | 09 Apr 2005 04:35 GMT | 3 |
Is there anyone out there intersted in a 91 4runner that needs a little work...actually, engine work. Toyota rebuilt the original engine at 86,000 miles under campaign...at 136,000 the same thing happened. Without warning it overheated and our mechanic says it needs to be rebuilt ...
