Thanks for the help.17 May 2005 02:50 GMT2
Thank you to everyone who answered my question. I will have many more in
the future and I'm sure some of them will probably be stupid. I just hope
I don't have any more Axels' trying to help.
                   Thank you.
Trailer wiring harness for 2000 Tundra16 May 2005 13:48 GMT4
My 2000 Tundra came without a trailer hitch.  I just had a Class III hitch
installed at U-Haul.  It is a nice tubular steel hitch with just the
receiver showing.  However the guys at U-haul seemed to be a little confused
on the proper wiring harness.  They offered a plug-in harness ...

Fwd suspension noises--why?13 May 2005 14:37 GMT2
When I make sharp turns such as backing up in parking lots, my front end
makes creaking and clunking sounds but drives well otherwise.  I've also
noticed slight cupping patterns on my front wheel treads.
What's wrong?  What can I do to fix it?  Will a "regular" front end repair
Tacoma 2000 offroad mirrors on 98?13 May 2005 11:55 GMT3
Has anyone installed the 2000 Tacoma offroad mirrors on their 98 Tacoma?  It
appears these mirros are non-folding manual remote mirrors, which is what I
want.    Will they fit without any modifications?  Any other parts required
besides the mirror and inside trim pieces?  Or is ...
03 Tundra 2WD rear pumkin13 May 2005 05:39 GMT3
My dealer keeps telling me that when he flushed the AT fluid in my truck,
the rear differential is also flushed.  I say he is incorrect.  They are not
even connected!  It is not FWD.  I told him to drain it and fill it with the
proper fluid.  Does anyone know what gear oil or ATF ...

Can anyone tell me if it's easy to change the factory speakers in an 03
Tundra? What fits the factory spaces? Are the door panels easy to remove?
ETC. Thanks  Glenn
How can I lower my Tundra's suspension????12 May 2005 14:06 GMT27
I bought an '05 double-cab 2wdTundra, and am VERY surprised to be
unable to find a lowering kit for it.
I'd like a 3"front, 5" drop, but would settle for a 2", 4" drop.
The thing is so high off the ground its hard to climb into and too tall
4Runner cargo liners11 May 2005 21:45 GMT1
Anybody know of a cargo liner for an '05 4Runner that will cover the entire
cargo area, with the rear seats folded forward and the double decker shelf
lowered?  I know about the RearGear Line-A-Trunk system, but I'm really more
looking for something like a WeatherTech or Husky ...
Total transmission failure in 98 4Runner 2WD SR511 May 2005 17:49 GMT4
I was just informed yesterday by service techs at my local Toyota dealership
that my automatic transmission had totally failed.  Not only had it "burned
up" but actual metal pieces and parts were worn out.  The truck has 112,000
miles but has always been serviced regularly at the ...

cap recommendation for an 04 Tacoma?11 May 2005 11:37 GMT6
I had an aluminum cap on my old Ford F150 which started to fall apart after
7-8 years, so I want a fiberglass cap for my 04 Tacoma. I've heard there are
several brands. Anyone have a recommendation as to brand? I want to keep
this truck until the end of its life, so I want one that ...

Are any of you folks using Frantz toilet paper filters for your oil?
What's your experience?  Does it work as advertised?
Confused about results?10 May 2005 20:04 GMT1
I  had a new muffler installed on my 1991 Toyota 4x4, about two months
ago. After that I changed the plugs, cap, wires, rotor, filter, and
had the oil changed. Now a few weeks after the fact it seems like my
truck is running like it has never been taken care of. I love my truck
