REPLACING IDLER PULLEY 3VZE 199012 Jul 2005 00:49 GMT1
I am replacing the timing belt, water pump, seals, and tensioner pulley
on a 1990 toyota 4wd std bed truck with a 3vze engine.  The idler pulley
over the top water jacket to the radiator is stumping me on how to remove
it.  Is it "pressed" on over this water jacket necessitating ...
2005 Tundra - two radio questions11 Jul 2005 16:42 GMT8
A friend just got her 2005 Tundra yesterday. The way she's cranking the
radio makes it clear she's going to fry the speakers pretty quickly, so she
wants to beef up the system. We're marinating some ideas.
1) Maybe add an amplifier first. Does the basic radio have preamp outputs?

Grinding Noise when starting11 Jul 2005 03:08 GMT7
I am wondering if anyone can help me figure out what is wrong with my 1988
Toyota truck.  Just recently when I turn on the truck, it makes a short
grinding (or grating noise).  The noise only lasts for a few seconds, and
then the truck runs fine.  Although it is a '88 truck, it only ...

91 4Runner Speedometer access09 Jul 2005 02:46 GMT1
I've gotten tired of the continuous squealing from the speedometer in
my 91 4Runner. I've got a great deal of the dash pulled apart, but for
the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to get at the back of the
speedometer.
Are Larger Tires Ok?08 Jul 2005 13:04 GMT18
I have a question regarding tires for my 02' Tacoma. The shop I went

as I had they were the original BF Goodrich tires sized at
P265/70R16's. They put P275/70R16's on and told me there would be

course, I did it with the engine off. Quite a bit of crud too.
Weight limit on Tacoma gate06 Jul 2005 22:51 GMT12
I'd like to prop a ramp up on the gate of my 2004 Tacoma double-cab
4WD, but I don't want to damage the gate by doing so. Anyone know what
a reasonable weight limit would be? The idea is to use the ramp to push
a 375lb motorcycle up onto the bed.
