I have a 1985 22re 4x4 toyo pickup and i am trying to pass smog the firsts
test i was way off on timing but i replaced the throttle position sensor
(notorious on toyotas) and it was better but now i am a lot closer but still
cant pass i am going to replace the plugs and airfilter ...

reminder buzzer for when I left my headlights on and taken the keys out.  I've

Truck takes a very long time to start when warm, cold starts are OK and
if I turn it off when hot and start it back up all is fine.  The problem

This may be long for some, but please read and try to help me out.  I
recently had to take my truck to have state inspection done.  I own a
2001 tacoma 4x4 with 70(k) on the engine.  I had to have the MAF sensor

I own a 2000 Tundra 4x4 limited. I had a Flowmaster 40 series installed
recently. GREAT sound outside, but the noise INside drives me crazy!
The fellow at the muffler shop said he removed the resonator because

Here's the long version of the story.
We just got back from a year long trip overseas.  The friend caring for the
house and cars took the 4Runner per instructions to get coolant changed.

After driving an 85 ex cab, the used 99 tacamo(100k miles) that I just
bought, has a bit quicker handling yet also tends to wallow a bit after the
initial turn input. I changed the shocks out, and the ride is considerably

1. Does anybody have names or websites of these suppliers?
2. What's the advantage of going with an imported engine opposed to a local
supplier (if you can find one)?

I just got finished the 4runner today, with a little (actually ALOT) of help
from a friend. WE put in the new 1/2 shaft which was alot easier than I
expected. We replaced the rotors and the tie rod ends. One gave us such a
fight it took over an hour and a broken, rewelded then ...
