| '98 4Runner starting problem | 29 Sep 2005 18:45 GMT | 7 |
I have a 1998 4Runner with a 4 cylinder engine. I tried to start it this morning and it took 3 times for it to start. The first two times it seemed like the battery was dead (i.e. no engine noise) however the radio came on (I can't remember if any of the dash lights were on).

| 2005 Tacoma Louder Turn Signal Relay | 29 Sep 2005 05:45 GMT | 2 |
I thought I'd share this little simple add-on to my new 2005 Tacoma 4WD dbl-cab TRD. When signaling while switching lanes, I cannot readily hear my turn signal flasher clicking, especially with window-down road noise and/or CD playing. Daylight sun obscures WEAK the turn signal ...

I have a 1990 Toyota 4x4 with a 22RE engine. I've replaced plugs, distributor cap and rotor and everything else seems to be in order. However, on acceleration, if you depress the pedal about half way, acceleration is sluggish until the RPM get up a bit when it will just

The cruise control on my '02 Tacoma appears to be too sensitive. It drops one and sometimes two gears on low inclines. Is this normal and if not is there a way to adjust the cruise control sensitivity? Thanks

| Tacoma 4WD brake rotors | 28 Sep 2005 01:04 GMT | 2 |
It may be the way I drive but I tend to go through (glaze, I suspect) front brake rotors quickly. I've found that the OEM Toyota rotors tend to last the longest before needing to be replaced or resurfaced - approzimately 20-24 months. I don't wear grooves or anything ust
