I have a '90 4-runner with 144K miles on a 22-RE. I have changed the oil and filter every 3k miles since new. Never used any oil. I changed the oil and filter and added 4.5 quarts as I do every time. However, 1 week later the level on the dipstick is about 1/2 quart over F.

I just got a 97 4Runner 5 speed. I am just wondering...Would engine RPM different if two identical 4Runners traveling on highway at 75 mph? Provided one is a 4 speed auto and another one is a 5 speed! Anyone has some facts or charts?

I just bought my first Tundra -- a 2001 AC TRD 4x4. Will not use it offroad but will be using it to tow a boat & trailer weighing 5,000#. Have been thinking about adding a Transmission Fluid Temp Gauge, but see that the vehicle has an A/T Fluid Temperature Warning Light.
