Replacing headlight switch in a 1990 4Runner02 Sep 2005 09:57 GMT1
Just looking for some pointers before I do this job. I'm about 99% certain
that the switch is bad. I've got no low-beams, but do have high beams
without the dashboard indicator. That is supposedly due to it being wired
through the low-beam lamps. At least that's what I've learned ...

I love my Tundra but would like to get a more fuel efficient truck.  I am

I just need some advice.
My 01 Sequoia has 122,000 mi on it.  It has a check engine light on and
the code is a p0430 - no others.  Now, from what I am reading it seems

I have an old 1979 4wd and the clutch had been slipping some and

engine and could not get it into any gear as if the clutch pedal was
not working. I shut down the engine and basically started the engine

problem.
95 4-runner poor idle at start-up when hot01 Sep 2005 04:04 GMT1
Occasionally at hot start-up idle will be poor, but some back to normal
after a quick rev. Cold start idle is always stable.
My guess is leaky injectors. ANyone lese encounter this?

Someone else had this problem too. Anyone really know a fix??
Symptoms: Works well for a while and then cooling stops. Open the

2001 Tacoma 3.4l Check Engine01 Sep 2005 01:22 GMT1
During the past year or 25k miles I've had problems with an engine
light with code p0420 which is cat efficiency low.  I was told to
replace the secondary o2 sensor and clean the mass airflow sensor. I
replaced them both while I was doing it. That seemed to take care of
Smoke on startup01 Sep 2005 01:17 GMT2
04 Tundra double cab with 34000 KMs smokes on start up there was a puff
of blue and white smoke. when I started it up the last 2 mornings.
Mechanic says some of these V8s do this? I insisted that they check for
blown head gasket. Now I suspect oil leaking down one cylinder past ...
