Update to oil change question.05 Oct 2005 18:43 GMT3
A few weeks ago I had changed the oil in my '90 4-runner.  I noticed some
spotting underneath the right side of the engine soon afterwards.  Nothing
much - about a tablespoon.
I had the seals replaced about 25k miles.  Finally I took it to the garage.
Truck Bed Replacement: Any ideas?05 Oct 2005 18:06 GMT3
How hard/substantial a job is replacement of a truck bed
on a pickup truck? Is that just a well isolated part that
can be replaced easily? I have a toyota 4x4 pickup from 90's
I like to replace the bed for (it was buckled in a rear-ending
Too late to start 5 wheel rotation?05 Oct 2005 14:14 GMT14
'99 Tacoma 4x2 Xtracab w/campershell
Just 26k miles on it.  I had been doing the dealer maintenance until
recently and had not realized that they were doing a 4 wheel rotation
instead of the 5 wheel version which would bring the spare into
Check Engine Light Issue05 Oct 2005 14:10 GMT1
I have a '99 Tacoma 4 cyl.  The engine light came on and I have to get
this vehicle smogged before the end of this month.  I read a post that
stated that removing the EFI fuse and then replacing it resets the
light.  I did this and it worked with only a rough idle at first.  Now
Tundra Windshield cracked04 Oct 2005 19:58 GMT2
Last Winter, my winshield cracked as I was driving down the street on a cold

had to be chipped.
I figured that the dealer, knowing that I didn't buy the truck there (I got
Wheel Upgrade04 Oct 2005 15:55 GMT5
I have a 2004 Tundra with stock 16" wheels.  I've got an offer from a friend
of mine to buy the 17" wheels off of his Sequoia (wheels without tires).  Is
there anything special I need to consider?  I'm guessing that these tires
may be taller and will throw off the ...

2005 Tacoma base model - review at 8k miles02 Oct 2005 15:27 GMT3
I have had this truck since Feb 05, this is just an unscientific
reaction to it.  First of all I have owned two other Toyotas (79 pickup
and 99 Solara) and I am really satisfied with the overall quality.
I bought this pickup (05 Tacoma base model with 5-spd, standard cab) in
1988 Toyota Pickup WEIRD brake problem01 Oct 2005 21:02 GMT6
I have a 1988 toyota pickup 4 cylinder 4x4. I have had to replace the front
brakes 3 times and my rear brakes look brand new. I replaced the front pads
and calipers, new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and proportioning
valve. I adjusted the brake booster pushrod to master ...
1992 4Runner Tires01 Oct 2005 15:12 GMT10
Does anyone know what kind of tires (both size and brand) I should put on my
1992 Toyota 4Runner 4x4?
I heard the Coopers were best bang fo the buck, but they are $179 (installed
and balanced) + tax.
