Hey all,
My wife was in a fender bender last night and the right back corner of the

looking at the insurance,  we have a $500 regular deductible.
Best years for 4x4 Pickup?09 Nov 2005 22:44 GMT2
I have a 1986 XtraCab 4x4 and am considering a newer truck.  I've heard that
the 86 - 88 models are better built than the newer ones!  I'm happy with the
22RE engine, but the trans will need work soon (noisy in all but 4th gear!).
I do what an XtraCab, 5 speed 4x4.  What years ...

Tie Rod / tire wear09 Nov 2005 05:05 GMT3
I took my 96 4runner to pep boys (okay,  flame away,  I was in a hurry)  to
have the tires balanced / rotated a few weeks ago,  when I got back, the
truck shook worse than when it got there.  Unfortunately this was right
before I was moving out of state, so I never took the truck ...

Disabling horn noise on remote locking and unlocking09 Nov 2005 01:51 GMT8
I am trying to figure out why I can't seem to disable the horn noise when
locking or unlocking with the remote entry device. I follow the directions
in the manual word for word and it (the horn) will not turn off. Does anyone
have any ideas? Thanks.
Strange Noise Help08 Nov 2005 19:10 GMT5
Hi, I am hoping for some good suggestions on what could be causing
these symptoms. They started occuring all of a sudden, at once.
1. While the car is rolling, whether in gear or in neutral, I can hear
a low frequency sound. It sounds like tread/road noise, but I do not
Windshield Wiper Problem08 Nov 2005 03:28 GMT6
I'm heading to Seattle this evening and I just noticed that my windshield
wipers don't work on fast speed.  They work perfectly on low speed and
intermittent but stop where they are when switched to high speed.
I just checked the weather forcast and it says that it's raining in
Tundra recall-lower ball joints05 Nov 2005 05:17 GMT6
Anyone know exactly what the problem is with the existing ball joints?  Do
they need to perform a front end alignment after the job?

Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z304 Nov 2005 13:01 GMT1
Does anyone use these tires?  One of the reviews on Tire Rack claims
they are better then studded.  Any truth to this?  Also, whats the
maximum tire size you can fit on an '05 Tacoma without getting a lift?

low beam headlights failure04 Nov 2005 06:27 GMT6
Both lowbeams on my 1995 Tacoma have failed and replacing blubs does not
correct.   High beams work fine.   Switch in low beam position neither
headlight works, and blue high-beam dash light is lit.  Fuses in engine
compartment are for left and right headlights (not hi vs lo) and ...
Because it is a truck, why?04 Nov 2005 05:46 GMT1
Driving a truck is nothing unusual to me since I have done it in the last 10
years.  From previous Ford Bronco to the 2004 Sequoia.
One thing I still do not understand is that truck like to get warm up more a
car.
