"87 4runner06 Dec 2005 03:55 GMT3
I'm having a problem with my temperature gauge.  When the truck is cold & I
start it up, as the temperature gauge starts to register it goes to the
white line at the top, stays there for a few seconds & then drops to
normal.  We've done the head gasket & changed the thermostat.  We ...
98 Tacoma Leaf Springs06 Dec 2005 00:25 GMT10
My 98 Tacoma's original driverside leaf spring broke at 100k miles. I
replaced it myself with a fabricated spring from a spring shop.  20k
miles later that spring broke.  I don't tow much, or offroad, i'm
guessing a pothole was the culprit both times.

89 pickup  hard start05 Dec 2005 09:29 GMT1
I have an 89 pickup 4wd- 22RE engine. It is very hard to start when it's
cold (<25F) outside. If it starts and is warmed up it always starts and runs
good. When it's cold, the engine will just crank, but not start. The
cylinders do not fire at all. Then after 5 min or so it suddenly ...

My 86 4x4 EFI is sluggish in first gear in drive but accelerates fine
if I go from low1 to drive?  drives fine once it gets going and
sometime fine all the time??  Has new egr and mass air flow is ok.  The
shop that replaced the egr advised I take it to a transmission shop.
'04 4-Runner road noise frustration03 Dec 2005 22:14 GMT18
Hey all,
This is my first post to this site.  I hope I can get some valuable insight
on my problem, and/or where to escalate next.
I bought my '04 4-Runner Sport new from a local dealer.  After about 10k
05 Tacoma Tire pressure03 Dec 2005 20:57 GMT28
I have a 2005 Tacoma 4X4 Regular Cab. The manufacturer lists the tire
pressure for the vehicle at 29PSI. However, the maximum pressure listed on
the tires is 51PSI. Why would Toyota require such low air pressure?
Lug Nuts Question03 Dec 2005 19:13 GMT8
I recently purchased a set of Toyota rims that came on a 02 Sequoia. These
are the split 5 spoke 'mags'. In order to mount these rims on my 98
PreRunner I had to purchase new lug nuts, which I purchased at a local
Kragen's..
Excess Water exiting the TailPipe03 Dec 2005 04:47 GMT16
There appears to be an excessive amount of water exiting the tailpipe from
my 22r engine.  It does not appear to be coming from the cooling system.
I think it is related to water condensation, perhaps in the fuel lines or
fuel tank.  Does anyone have any experiences with this type ...
leaking upper front ball joints03 Dec 2005 02:31 GMT10
Tacoma 2DW.
At 21,000 miles. I have never seen this on any "car" with this limited
mileage. Leaking at the bottom edge of the rubber. They were not leaking at
17,000 miles. Dealer service says this is normal. Is it?
Seatbelt retracts very slowly-96 Tacoma02 Dec 2005 17:11 GMT8
On my 96 Tacoma the seat belt tensioner does not appear to work too quickly.
When exiting the vehicle the belt will fall and hang out the door. I have to
feed it back through the upper loop to take up the slack.
My question is:
