1995 T100. 3.4 w/auto trans. 319,000 miles. Two days ago, I attempted to use an Actron scan tool to read OBDII codes - nothing's wrong, I was just curious to see if everyting was within range. It was a loaner tool from my local Advance Auto Parts. I

| Sluggish 91 Ext Cab 4wd 22re | 19 Jan 2006 12:34 GMT | 4 |
My pickup seems to start and run smoothly, but I can't help but think I have some compromise. This truck has 200,000 miles on it and has had some work done on it, but I don't have the information on what has been done...previous owner told me he had extensive work done and ...

| 2006 Tacoma engine size | 19 Jan 2006 03:57 GMT | 5 |
Bear with me, I'm going to be asking perhaps 2 or so more questions in later posts but in the mean time I'll try to read ahead before I ask them. I'm considering a 2006 Tacoma either regular or access cab. Assuming

I am seriously interested in raising my '98 4runner. i can probably find a lift kit online somewhere, but should i extend my wheelbase 1st? i have SUV paranoia, as i used to sit "on the ground" in my last two cars. most recently a '95 eclipse, before that was a '91 CRX. once i ...

| 99 Tacoma, slight whine | 17 Jan 2006 21:04 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1999 tacoma with automatic and only 60k miles. Anyhow, it has started making a barely audible noise like a high pitched whine when engaged. No sound is made while idling at any rpm, but only as movement starts. however, it is more noticeable when putting in reverse and even

Got a broken inner boot on passenger side. I expect I'll probably replace the whole shaft, any one done one? Also, how long can I run in 2WD only without causing larger problems, if any? Thanks,

If I change the factory speakers out of the Tacoma and install my own (say Infinity Kappas 6 1/2s) would the sound quality improve to a more pleasing level? As a reference for the quality level I'm after, I've been pleased for the

| first oil change for my new Tundra at 3000 miles!? | 16 Jan 2006 01:03 GMT | 12 |
That seems too long, but that's what they are telling me. I'd be more inclined to change it at 500 miles, then again at 3000. Also the dealer said not to worry about engine break-in, but to "just drive the hell out of it".

| Question seeking Advice | 15 Jan 2006 22:04 GMT | 5 |
I am seeking a Tundra Reg/Access Cab as a service truck for a company (my first) that we are starting. I found what appears to be a pretty good deal on a 2002 Tundra Access Cab with 16,500 on the odometer. This seems very low to me due to the price and the year of truck. No ...
