| Tundra oil drain plug torque spec? | 05 Feb 2006 20:08 GMT | 5 |
I'm about to do my first oil change on a 2005 V8 Tundra. All other vehicles I've had/have with a drain plug gasket have a torque spec (Saab was 42 ft/lbs!). Does Toyota publish a spec or is it just good-n-tite?

Anyone recommend a place to buy the factory service manual for my 06 4Runner? I'm looking for recommendations with places you've dealt with...not just a list of places that they can be purchased. Any recommendations?

I posted some time back about my 05 DC with the vibration in the driveline after driving on a long trip (over 50 miles). I called customer service and they opened a file on my truck. I took it in this week and they kept it 3 days with no phone call. I called this afternoon

Greetings from one of the many long-time lurkers. I finally have a question that I hope is worthy of your time. I have an '89 truck, 4WD, 3.0L V6 with a dead water pump. The local Toyota dealer has two different types of replacement water pumps for this model

| fuel pump and filter for 86 Toyota 4-Runner | 04 Feb 2006 08:18 GMT | 2 |
My 86 Toyota wouldn't start the other day, took it to the shop and they said I need to replace the fuel pump and filter, as there is no pressure in the tank. I just replaced the tank and the gas lines last year due to a leak and strong smell. I feel that the shop may be

| Advice on shocks? | 04 Feb 2006 07:12 GMT | 8 |
Guys, have a 97 Tacoma 2WD with stock shocks after 100k miles and was wanting to see if getting different shocks would give a little softer/smoother ride. Don't get me wrong though, the ride as it is, is not that rough. I have heard good info about the Bilstien's for the

| Tacoma driving position is too low? | 04 Feb 2006 06:59 GMT | 3 |
I test drove an 06 Tacoma the other day and liked it a lot. Consumer Reports says that the driving position is too low. Is it really too low, or CR just blowing hot air? (I didn't notice it during the test drive; maybe it could be a little

| tacoma admirer | 04 Feb 2006 04:57 GMT | 3 |
I have a corolla at the moment and will eventually get myself a tacoma. I am not a big truck fan but I will need one to haul things that cannot fit in a corolla. Tacomas are the only trucks that I have seen that are small and yet sporty enough that grabs my attention. I am ...

| Power Steering Pump Blues, Newbie Style | 04 Feb 2006 00:25 GMT | 2 |
Hi folks. I'm hoping someone can tell me their solution to my problem. I had my '94 4Runner (V6) in for the relay rod recall and the service writer said they could fix a leak in my steering pump for $382.12 + tax (for rebuilding the pump). Instead I invested $40.00 and bought a
