I just took delivery of a 2006 Tacoma 4x4 automatic last night. The dealer tried to sell me the Platinum Toyota extended warrantee (6 yrs/75K) for $1,575. I asked to think about it for awhile before accepting this coverage.

I have noticed that outside North America the Toyota pickups are called Hilux and the body style seems "different" than a Tacoma. Are these the same exact trucks with just a different name on the side or is the body and power train truly different? I saw more than one diesel ...

I recently bought a '94 4RUNNER V6 SR5 192,000 miles. It runs great and I did not find any problems with it so far after driving another 2000 miles.I checked with dealer and they said Head Gasket is replaced on that sometime around 2000.

Other than going to the dealer and paying more than I should, anyone have a link where I can pick up replacment bare bed (cargo securing) hooks, screws, and also the driver's door hook (mounted on the pillar, secures the door) hardware?

I'm thinking of buying a 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport with the V6. One of the options is dual exhaust for $350. They say it well increase your horsepower and MPG. Does anyone have dual exhaust and if so did it help with the gas mileage or power. I'm planning on towing a trailer

My 01 Tacoma stock radio went blank one day and will not power up. There is no fuse under the dash or in the engine compartment labeled radio. Which one is it? Accesory? Any way I checked them all and all are good. Is there a hidden one somewhere? Any other quick fixes before

I just traded my 05 Rav4 today for an 06 model. Anyways, I really like it except I absolutely HATE the Daytime Running Lights. I think that is the dumbest thing to drive around in the daytime with your lights on. Does anyone know how to disable these things? Specific instructions
