95 Runner Alloy Wheels13 May 2006 23:26 GMT1
Are these wheels coated in any way? Mine are showing their age and I'd like
to spiff them up. Any good spray on rinse off products that will get them to
shine again?
Resetting computer on Tundra after battery change13 May 2006 20:22 GMT2
After I changed the battery, I must have connected the battery cable in the
wrong sequence.  Now the truck starts, runs for a little bit then dies, it
starts right back up
red hot exhaust manifold in 4Runner12 May 2006 19:46 GMT6
1987 4Runner with newly remanufactured engine (which was replaced due to
damage from overheating) still has trouble with the exhaust manifold getting
red hot.  The EGR valve was shot so I suspected the catalytic converter was
bad.  Haven't replaced it (or EGR) yet.  Instead I ...

I don't see anything about change intervals for brake fluid in my

Squeaking Clutch11 May 2006 15:40 GMT5
I have a '90 4runner.  Every once in a while the clutch squeaks like a
banshee when depressed.  I had one shop tell  me it was the result of a
plastic bushing gone bad.  I don't necessarily think so because the squeak
seems to be coming from somewhere underneath the car and that ...
What is  HP of '90 22R-E11 May 2006 02:24 GMT6
I have a '90 4runner with a 22R-E engine.  Manuals list the HP at 116 hp and
it would not surprise me.
I am seriously thinking of getting a Honda Element but the main concern was
the 154HP engine and whether  it would be under-powered.  But after living

Used Tacoma Watch List05 May 2006 16:02 GMT1
I'll be looking at a used Tacoma this weekend for son #2.  Any hints on
particular problems with this vintage truck that I should pay particular
attention to?

'88 Pickup Seat Swap05 May 2006 14:11 GMT4
I'm thinking about swapping a set of bucket seats into my '88 Toyota
standard cab pickup and am wondering if the floor pan is different from
the one used in pickups made for bucket seats.
In other words, if I could get the bucket seats and hardware, is there a

94 4Runner Gas Mileage02 May 2006 04:48 GMT8
I Bought a 94 4Runner  V6 SR5 W/automatic Transmission, and the thing is a
gas hog. Surprised me. I expected maybe at worst, 18 MPG  highway. It does
have oversized mid tires on it. Seems to run good. Any ideas out there on
improving the mileage? or does anyone have an idea on the ...
99 Tacoma 4x4 Front Brake Rotor Removal02 May 2006 04:38 GMT3
I am not having much luck removing the rotors from the front end of my
99 4wd Tacoma.  The Chilton's guide is worthless.  It advises to remove
the hubs, but the parts shown are nothing like mine.
Can anyone please tell me how to get the rotors off this vehicle?  I've
