1986 toyota pickup carburetor problem24 Jun 2006 20:05 GMT2
The problem:Missing  carburetor return spring for bell crank . I have
researched various haynes and chiltons repair manuals; and there was no
picture on how to install it.  The toyota dealership was not helpful
either. The engine is a 22R.  If someone  could download a picture where
Tacoma Error Code Help24 Jun 2006 19:42 GMT1
Hello Forum,
I have received the catalyst system below thresold error  (Bank 1) (P0402) twice in the last 200 miles. I am going to conduct some research on the net now, any ideas? It sounds like an oxygen sensor and the truck does idle a little rough.

Heat Shield Question23 Jun 2006 23:36 GMT2
The heat shield mounted above the cat. converter on my '91 2X4 rattles when
I drive or idle. I've tried to tighten it up but it really doesn't seem to
be loose, just "rattly". If I get really pissed at it and rip it off, am I
going to regret it later (like maybe setting the inside ...
86 pickup Turbocharger replacement with a Supercharger23 Jun 2006 18:41 GMT6
I have an 86 Turbo Pickup here with about 300k miles on it. It is a
California car with no rust and has never been in a wreck. I am the original
owner. Paint is a metallic gloss that has just recently lost some clear
coat. I just like this 4x4 enough to keep it another 10 years ...
Dull Headlight lenses22 Jun 2006 22:18 GMT11
I've bought a 1999 Toyota PU and the lenses on the headlights are dingy
looking and really detract from the looks of the truck.
I don't have the truck yet....it's being shipped in, but I'm looking for
options to deal with those dingy headlights... Any suggestions would be
Worn Ignition Key22 Jun 2006 17:38 GMT11
My 1988 Toyota pickup ignition key always gets two very worn
places on the flat sides near the tip of the key (about
3/16" from the tip).  It looks like something is rubbing
there a lot, when the key is in the ignition switch, but I
'96 Tacoma Seat Covers22 Jun 2006 14:29 GMT3
Anyone here have experience with a seat cover that actually fits. My '06
Tacoma is still running like a champ but the seats are getting pretty bad.
Thanks
1996 TACOMA HARD TO START WHEN WARM21 Jun 2006 16:56 GMT6
Have a 1996 Tacoma. Runs great but when you turn it off you have to wait 30
to 45 min. to restart or it will just turn over and not get ignition. Im
thinking it has something to do with the injectors or maybe a sensor. Any
suggestions.
Removing driveshaft from 1984 Toyota longbed20 Jun 2006 17:10 GMT11
I'm in the process of removing my transmission, for a clutch job, and after unbolting
the driveshaft from the differential flange (4 bolts/nuts), and removing the two bolts
from the center bearing holder which is now loose...I'm finding that the driveshaft is
not exactly falling off ...
Faulty TPS or something else?20 Jun 2006 14:13 GMT3
I appreciate if someone could help me to diagnose the following symptom

once quickly, and the engine will hesitate/stall when the flashing

88 PU 4cyl leaking lubricant19 Jun 2006 00:37 GMT4
My 88 4cyl base pickup  Automatic w/o Air Conditioning is leaking lubricant
all over the bottom of the motor (front). It's my 18 yo son's truck so I
just noticed it. It appears to be a large volume of fluid. It also appears
to be coming out with some force because its all over ...
Headlight changes, and reverse problems18 Jun 2006 18:23 GMT2
I have a 93 Toyota truck, and I have two problems which are a bother to me
at this time.  One is the headlights; they are so dim I can barely see
while driving at night, unless I use the high beams and they are still
dim.  And the second problem is the truck will cut off while in ...
Wheel Bearings18 Jun 2006 14:46 GMT4
I'm about to replace the front wheel bearings on my early 1995 Tacoma
4x4 with auto locking hubs. I haven't done bearings myself since 1997
and I'm feeling a little lost especially as it's my first time with a
4x4. Can anyone offer any insight as to proceedure, common mistakes,
Has ANYONE put a winch on a Tundra??18 Jun 2006 07:03 GMT1
There seems to be an utter lack of products available to do this.
Ideally I'd like a front bumper replacement that hid the winch inside
the bumper.  That stuff is all over for Chevys and Fords and Dodges and
Jeeps but NOTHING I can find for the Tundra.  You'd think after 6
