Vent Visors for 2004 Tacoma XtraCab?  And a few other questions!05 Jun 2006 21:45 GMT4
Well, I took my 2001 Dodge Dakota out muddin' and sank it pretty deep
in a pit that I thought was a little more shallow.  Water found it's
way into the engine and fried it.  Needed a new engine and a serious
cleaning.  So I figured it was time to step up into a Tacoma.
Another shell/aftermarket question....05 Jun 2006 13:18 GMT2
I am having a difficult time finding aftermarket accessories for my 06
Tundra.  My truck is 4x2 REGULAR cab, long bed.  Seems all the nerf bars etc
I find are for extended cab trucks.  Looking into Black nerf bars, and
trying to find a paint matched camper shell in the "desert ...
1990 4x4 Pick up sluggish and surging05 Jun 2006 03:09 GMT3
I recently bought a 1990 toy pick up 4x4 due to the unreliability of my
1980 CJ 7.  Anyway, I changed the plugs, wires, k&n air filter, and
muffler(not the converter though).  The truck starts fine and idles,
even revs up smoothly with no load.  When driving at lower rpm's its
T100 V605 Jun 2006 00:57 GMT1
Got a '97 T100 with V6 & 4x4.  Can I drop the oil pan with the engine
still in the truck?  Thought I would replace the oil pump.....

93 Toyota 2.4 pickup04 Jun 2006 19:39 GMT4
What other items can I check besides the mass air flow sensor? I've
replaced the air filter. Symptoms: no power uphill; increased fuel usage;
no accesseration anywhere; occasional hard starting. I just got the truck
from a private party. He determined it was the sensor and did not ...
Replacing Fuel Filter in 199904 Jun 2006 19:37 GMT6
Does anyone know how often one needs to replace the fuel filter in a 1999
4Runner - 2.7?
I have heard that the fuel filters needed to be replaced every 60 K miles.
But, I also heard that it never needs to be replaced unless there is a
1983 toyota pickup04 Jun 2006 14:36 GMT5
I have purchased a 83 toyota pickup with no eng. I already own a 89
4runner. I want to install my fuel inj eng into my 83 pickup. Can I make
this work by using the computer from the 4runner? also, the 4runner is
auto. The pickup is manual. I want to keep it manual. If this is at all ...
speed sensor03 Jun 2006 20:44 GMT4
Can anybody point me to a website,  picture or schematics showing where
the speed sensor of an 86 4runner is located.  I just saw the the speed
sensor hanging and obviously not detecting anything.
Differences between 3.4l '90 and '97 engines?03 Jun 2006 03:05 GMT6
I had a '90 4runner that I bought when it was 10 yrs old and only had 93K
miles on it.  The truck was totalled when it had 245K miles on it, but the
engine was still running strong.  3.? liter V6.
I'm looking at a '97 4runner that has 91K miles on it.  3.4 liter V6.  Are
WTB: 22RE Engine for 4x402 Jun 2006 22:55 GMT4
I need a fuel injected 4 cylinder 22RE engine for my 88 Toyota 4x4.
The one I have is close to packing it in, and I'm moving to mission in
less than a month, and since I love this truck so much, I was hoping to
find a cheap engine to drop in. I've checked ralphs and sent emails to ...
No spark plugs in 2002 Taco?02 Jun 2006 03:56 GMT1
Just kidding. But, the only wires I see are really skinny, compared to other
cars I've owned, and they terminate (in the block) with these flat rubber
caps. How are those removed?
Tundra camper shell opinions?01 Jun 2006 02:33 GMT1
I've seen several different ones on Tundra's out there.  Is there a
consensus best shell, or is there one "everyone knows" (but 'cept me!)
to stay away from?  My truck is an '06.

Shifting questions - 1990 4x401 Jun 2006 02:27 GMT7
To the experienced, this will seem a bit odd, but I'm a bit new to the
4x4 thing and I've been given conflicting information about this so I'm
looking for experienced advice.....   ;-)
I have a 1990 Toyota truck 4x4 5-speed 22RE engine.
