I have a 1986 2wd base model truck with a lot of upgrades and rebuilt parts, but nobody in or around Chicago wants any of them. It runs fine, but the bottom end is making the telltale noises of an engine on it's last leg, and I stupidly primered it on a whim, so it looks

| 3.0l V6 tensioner spring for timing belt | 30 Jul 2006 23:06 GMT | 2 |
Is it possible to buy the tension spring separately (1992 V6 3.0l)? The idler pulley seems fine, but the tension spring length is 2.5 in. and Haynes manual says 2.2 in. max. It seems that everyone wants to sell the idler pulley with the spring.

| late model Tacomas | 30 Jul 2006 04:53 GMT | 11 |
My understanding is the new tacomas(2004+) are mid size pick-up truck. and pre 2004 Tacomas are compact pick-up trucks. Am I correct? Are the new Tacomas considered compact as well? Because to me, the newer(2004+) Tacomas look a little big to be considered a compact..

My 1999 Toyota 4-Runner (3.4L V6) now has just over 100,000 miles on it. The check engine light has come on for the first time. I have noticed over the past couple of months that the Temperature Gauge has been 'jumping'. Sometimes the needle is steady, sometimes it drops

Hey, I'm in the process of replacing virtually every brake component in my 1988 Pickup (only 73K miles on the same, but boy, I don't think any of its bolts or fasteners have been removed since it left the factory). My question today is about my front calipers: for the life of me I
