towing a '93 4runner19 Jul 2006 18:18 GMT4
I need to tow (all 4 wheels down) my 93 4runner 4x4 automatic
transmission.  Can I safely do this?  I don't want to have to use a
trailer or dolly with two wheels down and 2 up.  Anyone tried this?
What's the procedure?  Thanks!
Help finding Fender Flare19 Jul 2006 12:57 GMT2
I accidentally tore the front right Fender Flare off of my 2004 Tundra.
These were the original equipment on my SRV with the offroad package
etc.  They are black to match the body finish.
Does anyone know where I can buy just 1 and not have to buy the entire

99 Tacoma getting hot18 Jul 2006 20:24 GMT6
It hasn't gotten steamy hot but today when I shut the engine off I
heard it gurgle and since it has been showing significantly hotter than
normal on the gauge, I suspected the noise may have been the water
boiling. I flipped the switch back on and sure enough the gauge climbed
2001 Tacoma 4x2 regular cab problem18 Jul 2006 19:04 GMT1
The problem I have with my 2001 white Tacoma is that I love her more
than my house, my wife,  my dog, my cat and my hamster.  I had her ever
since she was born.
First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is take a look at my cute

'95  Land Cruiser check engine light...17 Jul 2006 05:43 GMT8
The beast is running perfectly.  Is there a sensor that routinely goes
out on these, or something else that commonly causes a check engine
light?  It has about 118k miles.  Starts right up, runs smoothly,
accelerates just like always...
Oxygen Sensor replacement17 Jul 2006 02:51 GMT3
I have a 1992 V-6 4x4 Xtra-Cab truck. The "Check Engine" light just
came on at 230,000 miles. I am convinced by the diagnostic codes that
it is the oxygen sensor. Well I am convinced because of the codes and
the fact that I have never replaced the sensor.  Yes, I did say sensor
Replacement exhaust system '88 P/U15 Jul 2006 22:13 GMT12
I'm the original owner of a 1988 pickup, 22R, short bed, manual trans,
around 173K miles.  After 18 years, the original exhaust is starting to
look a bit rusty, especially since I live near the ocean.  I called
Carson Toyota for an approximate quote, and they said about $2,500 plus
Switching Seats15 Jul 2006 21:18 GMT3
I just purchased a used '99 Tacoma and the drivers seat is significantly
more worn than the passenger.  I'd like to switch the two seats before the
drivers seat wears through and I'm wondering if anyone has tried to do this
before?
