1991 V6 clutch feel30 Aug 2006 04:00 GMT6
I went to look at a 1991 Pickup V6 4x4 Xtracab yesterday. It's in good
shape, the price is right, and it runs like a dream. The only problem
is the clutch feels a bit wonkey - the best way to describe it is
almost no resistance through the top of the stroke, and then it feels

Best DIY repair manual?29 Aug 2006 18:23 GMT12
I took my 1996 Toyota T100 in to the local dealership to get some
recall work done. While there, I also had them check out why my "check
engine" light has been on for a while. It turns out I need new spark
plugs, wires, and O2 sensor, plus a bunch of other stuff, totalling to
1990 4Runner Wouldn't  Start29 Aug 2006 15:11 GMT5
I tried to start my 90 4Runner Monday morning, V6 w/auto, and it would
not start. I turn the key and heard 1 click. Tried for a couple of
minutes and nothing. Found my Hanes maual and located the stater. I
gave it a wack and the truck started. Went to work , but after it
PCV replacement, 3VZE, and urge to kill rising....29 Aug 2006 02:02 GMT4
My best guess is that my Toyota 1992 Pickup Extended Cab is idling
roughly when hot, and on the verge of stalling, is because the positive
crankcase ventalation valve is stuck open; or the vacuum solenoid is
bad; or the EGR valve is shot. I've sent away for a new solenoid since
Higher RPM's... Torque converter or Transmission issue?27 Aug 2006 12:02 GMT7
1993 4Runner 3L, Auto, 4x4, 160K, Tran cooler.  (Had this for 8 years.)
I am noticing much larger variations in my RPM while maintaining
constant MPH then I did in the past (true with cruse on or off).
When driving a constant speed, say 65mph in overdrive, the tac reads
speedometer/odometer broken, please help26 Aug 2006 23:26 GMT2
I have a 1991 toyota 4X4 pickup with 4 clyinder engine. My
speedometer/odometer stopped working. I replaced the cable a few years back
so I thought that was the problem again. I disconnected the cable from the
back of the instrument cluster and drove around and it's not turning. I
wanting to buy a 02-05 Tacoma22 Aug 2006 17:53 GMT7
I'm looking to get out of my 96 S10 Chevy 4x4

Not sure is I should get a 4 or 6.
1988 PickUp Brake Blues22 Aug 2006 15:26 GMT11
Well, after taking a couple weeks to replace my calipers and brake pads
in the front, the e-brake cable, and various brake tubes (all after
work while trying to paint my house, take care of kids, etc.) and not
yet getting to the rear brakes, I noticed push-through when coming to a
03 4Runner battery22 Aug 2006 05:30 GMT8
I have an 03 4Runner with the original battery in it located in
Florida. The car has about 33,000 miles on it and is kept in a garage
most of the time. Should I expect that the battery is about to die, or
will they go longer than three years?

2001 Tundra V-8, 60,000 miles
The time delay between putting the key into the start position and
the engine cranking is long enough that I can hear a click when the
key is turned to start.  Very shortly after that the starter engages
15" rims for '88 2wd pick-up20 Aug 2006 17:23 GMT2
I upgraded my original 14" steel rims to 15" alloys a year ago when I
bought new tires at America's Tire.  Now a year later, the finish on
all the rims (MB Blitz) is disintegrating.  It was a mirror machined
finish.  I live within a mile of the ocean.  Now I'm trying to find
Hiace fan resistor20 Aug 2006 06:45 GMT1
I've only got speeds 3 & 4 on heater fan, does anyone know location of

22RE timing chain = pulling the head?!18 Aug 2006 22:30 GMT11
Water pump on a 194kmi 4Runner sounds like its going so I thought I
might as well take the rest of the front off while I'm at it.  Then I
read in the Toyota manual to get to the timing chain I have to yank the
head, and THAT entails disconnecting just about everything forward of
