84 model Hilux (ln65) handbrake31 Oct 2006 02:34 GMT1
I'm having a bit of trouble with my handbrake at the moment. Everything
seems ok with the mechanism, but it just doesn't seem to move enough to
engage fully. Even by pulling on the lever at the backing plate doesn't put
much pressure on the shoes.

I own a 2001 SR5 Tundra 4.7 V-8 with ~100,000 miles. I know I'm at a

getting wire into cab28 Oct 2006 04:01 GMT10
I just bought a new Tacoma extended cab and need to get a piece of coax
cable about 1/4 inch in diameter into the cab.  The cable will be comming
from the back side of the back side of the truck and needs to end up under
the dash. Any ideas before I have to reinvent the wheel ?
Price check, Tacoma26 Oct 2006 23:49 GMT3
With an initial price quote of $21894.00 for a 2007 model Tacoma, what can I
reasonably expect to negotiate for a final price?
I haven't bought a new vehicle since 1987 so I don't have a clue as to what
to expect.

Have a 1999 4Runner with about 132000 miles on it. I have been thinking of
replacing the regular oil with the synthetic kind. Any problems I should
watch out for on a vehicle with this many miles? Also, can anyone describe
the main benefits of using synthetic oil?
Starting woes25 Oct 2006 02:00 GMT5
My 99 4x4 Tacoma has started a bizarre ritual. It acts as if the battery is
dead, then on the 2nd or 3rd try it cranks over like usual. I am guessing
starter, but wonder about ignition switch. Any high probability guesses

I have a 1995 2.4L Tacoma, the truck idles around 1100 cold (normal), but drops to 750 warm (seems low). The problem that I am encountering is when I engage the Air Conditioning the computer is not compensating for the added draw and the engine stalls whether it is warm or cold. ...
