I have a 2001 RAV4 (I'm the original owner) that currently has 25,000
miles on it.  It's a 5-speed stick, 4x4, L-series.  I have all the
normal maintenance stuff done on time, the gas I use is the octane
recommended in the owner's manual, and--if I may say so myself--I'm an

I know that towing an automatic is a "No-No", but I was wondering if
towing my manual transmission 4Runner would work without disconnecting
the front driveshaft? I have heard that you must do that, but it
doesn't make sense to me as the front end spins regardless if the
