Rear bumper replacement on 2005 Tundra09 Dec 2006 16:26 GMT9
A lady just hooked my rear bumper and bent it out.  Very minor damage, but
the bumper is ruined.  The dealer wanted $942.00 to repair.  It appears to
be a very easy project, but I don't know.  Are there complications in taking
off the bumper and replacing with a new one?  If the ...
Loss of power and mileage / low hollow sound from air intake09 Dec 2006 14:50 GMT2
My 90 Toyota with a 22RE has sudden loss of power and mileage.  It is
also making a low hollow sound from the air intake?  I changed the
plugs and ran a fuel cleaner in the tank.  No improvement.  The idol
seems to be in flux.  It will run up around 1200 to 1000 when cold and
Diagnostics tester suggestions?09 Dec 2006 14:47 GMT3
I Have a (1988 TOYOTA - EFI  SR5 PICKUP V6-2958cc 3.0L  F/I 3VZE)
I'm looking for a reasonably priced Diagnostics tester.  Problem is, I cant
locate one for the year of my vehicle.  Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.
High Idle 1993 T-10009 Dec 2006 14:45 GMT1
I have a 1993 T-100 5-speed.  This is a problem that only happens about 1/2
the time.  The idle goes to 2100 rpm's.  Other times, it idles correctly.
Any suggestions?
Tips on buying a 2003 Tundra09 Dec 2006 02:33 GMT3
I may have an opportunity to purchase a used 2003 Tundra SR5 4X4 Access Cab
with short bed, that only has 27k miles on it. The lease has ended and the
current owner is either going to give it back to the leasing company or sell
it for the buyout cost. The vehicle looks to be in ...
Trac Lock any good?08 Dec 2006 16:44 GMT2
I drive my 92 4x4 pickup mostly on the street and muddy roads. No
serious off road stuff. That's what the jeep is for. Anyway, I called
Randy's Ring and Pinion and they say I can use the Trac Lock in the
front as well as the back and the truck will be as safe on icy roads
2007 Tundra continues gas-hog trend08 Dec 2006 13:34 GMT57
The Tacoma is no longer a compact truck and now the Tundra is getting a
size boost and a 5.7L V8. It's unlikely gas mileage will improve vs the
"underpowered?" 4.7L V8. I think this is a run at the Nissan Titan for
size and showmanship, not pragmatism. Shallow buyers think they need ...
Trailer Hitch Lock for '06 Tacoma07 Dec 2006 20:33 GMT3
I just bought an '06 Tacoma with the towing package.  I purchased a
hitch lock, but it is not quite long enough. I read that Tacoma hitches
have an extra 4mm steel bracket to contend with.  Where might I find a
special hitch lock that will work on the Tacoma's hitch?

Tacoma bed mezzanine07 Dec 2006 17:03 GMT15
I have a brand new Tacoma and see a couple of indentations for some
crosspieces to be installed in the bed.  Is this a Toyota accessory?  Can't
find one.  So I will build my own plywood raised deck to keep tools and
rescue equipment under.  Does anyone have any experience doing ...
snow chains??07 Dec 2006 16:25 GMT15
Here in south Mississippi, if you ask at the parts house for snow chains,
they look at you like you brought a prostitute to church. I am going to be
doing some traveling in a couple of weeks and will need some chains for my
Tundra. Can somebody point me to a reputable internet ...
neophyte in the house - 80series 4.2L VX import07 Dec 2006 08:47 GMT1
Hello group:
Would like to know what would be the best forum for discussion on
80series.  Seems like the trucks forum is fantastic but a bit general.
Any 80 series folk out there?
cab rollover repair on 85 pickup05 Dec 2006 05:37 GMT1
I was wondering how hard it is to repair a stadard cab in the act of a roll
over.  All I need is to get a windsheild in the truck and it has only minor
cab damage to the roof.. I feel i could be done with a high lift jack an a
hammer but the post has got to be perfictally straight. ...
95 Taco Check Engine Light05 Dec 2006 04:24 GMT2
My 95.5 Tacoma 4x4 w 2.7L 22 RE has 340K miles and this morning I tried
pulling away from the stop sign in 2nd. The engine and the entire truck
shuddered badly and I jammed in the clutch and went back to first. I started
hearing a popping noise and noticed dramatic lack of power ...
Four Wheel Drive not working 1993 T10005 Dec 2006 01:04 GMT1
I'm trying to get my four wheel drive working on my 1993 Toyota T100.
When you shift it into four wheel drive it down shifts so it goes
slower so if feels like it's engaging but when you get stuck the front
tires don't spin.  I heard that it can be the hoses that go to the
