The 1st pick up I owned in 1980 was a Toyota. I've since had 3 S-10's

Toyota. Other than wanting the Access Cab, I'm open to the options. I
don't do true off road driving, but I do drive in areas with many poor

Tips on reinstalling Tacoma wiper motor?12 Feb 2007 14:25 GMT2
I have a new (used) wiper motor to install in my 99 Tacoma.  Removing
the old motor is a snap, of course, but how in the world do you get
the linkage from the new motor to the blades put back together?  There
is a very small hole in the firewall to work through, and I can get
Unusual Uneven Tire Wear on 06 Tacoma12 Feb 2007 04:39 GMT8
Just did the 15,000 mile service on my 06 Tacama and noticed something odd.
The front tires are wearing unevenly, but in an unusual way.
The inside edge of each front tire was slightly more worn than the outside
edge. Nothing dramatic, but nonetheless noticeable.

Does anyone know how much oil a 22R rising sun engine takes?  Does the size of the oil filter matter?
Tundra V6 towing11 Feb 2007 12:06 GMT18
Hi all, I've been looking forever and still can't get a handle on what a
V6 Tundra is capable of comfortably towing. I want to buy one to do a 6
month cross country trip with a 3000lb (loaded weight) travel trailer and a
450lb. motorcyle in the bed. I want to drive to Alaska and ...

200 miles on a full tank. Sometimes it will not register againg for up to 80
miles or so, sometimes after only a few.I have been using my trip meter B
for a long time to know when to refuel.
2000 4Runner radio code?09 Feb 2007 03:32 GMT2
I'm about to replace a battery on my 2000 4Runner limited. I was looking
through my original papers from the dealer and I don't see anything that
says "Radio Code"
Does this model need a radio code to activate the radio once the battery is
2000 4Runner time to replace battery?08 Feb 2007 15:39 GMT8
I have a 2000 4Runner Limited with about 34000 miles. Still running on the
original battery. that would make it 7 years old this January!
I live in the northeast and although it's been starting every morning in the
cold, it sounds like it's saying "the end is near!"
Recommended tires for Toyota 4Runner07 Feb 2007 23:54 GMT23
Does anyone have any recommendations for tires for the Toyota 4Runner ? I
have a 2004 SR5 which came equipped with Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires but I
now have 50 K miles on her and its time to replace them. They were pretty
good at first in both rain and snow.

99 Tacoma extended cab, 4/wheel drive, offroad package, came with a plow I

4Runner clutch replacement.07 Feb 2007 21:09 GMT8
The cost of replacing the clutch on my 1992 4Runner V6 4WD is going to
run about $1000CDN at the mechanics around here so I am considering
doing it myself.  I was wondering if anyone here has tackled this job
and what the difficulty level is, and if you have any words of wisdom.
