My 89 truck did not have any power at all so i replaced the spark
plugs, ignition wires, Dist. cap/rotor and the air cleaner element.
None of this cured the problem,  I then noticed that the dist was
rotated completely to the stop (clockwise)  I hadn't noticd the prior

Looks like the cables seized or frozen from the pull handle to the
(pivot point spring return)if you want to call it that under the
truck  where the 2 cables meet for adjustment. I was wondering how
hard it is to . to change the cable from the hand brake mounted below

Anyone have experience installing power locks on a manual lock door?
