| Differential bearings? | 24 Apr 2007 19:03 GMT | 12 |
Hi. I was wondering if the bearings differentials, where they bolt to the carrier inside the third member, are pressed on with a machine press or if they are put on by hand. I have a new limited slip install that I wish to do but I do not know if I need to take the old

| Drive indicator light | 20 Apr 2007 02:08 GMT | 6 |
The "Drive" indicator light on my dashboard of an 03 Tundra suddenly went out. All the other indicator lights are working. Does this need attention? If so - is it expensive. This is the first time I have ever heard of such a problem.

I love my 1989 4x4, 220,000 miles, V6 beauty. I bought her off the guy who bought her off the lot. She seems to need a new clutch. All the symptoms are present, slipping when climbing hills, and more recently the smell of clutch plate. Anybody know how long the clutch

| clutch problem with 2000 tundra | 20 Apr 2007 01:39 GMT | 1 |
Driving home from work, my clutch petal began sticking to the floor -- I'd have to pull it up with my foot. However when it was stuck to the floor, the clutch was engaged. When I got home (finally), I turned off the engine, with the transmission in neutral if I depress the clutch

I have a 1991 4Runner with a 22 RE engine. I have had the valves adjusted four times in the last year and it just won't stick. I am told that I need to replace an adjusting screw. My question is: Does the head need to be removed to replace the screw, or can the screw be

| replace the water pump when replacing the timing belt? | 18 Apr 2007 15:00 GMT | 5 |
I have a 2000 Sienna with 95K miles on it. When replacing my timing belt, my local mechanic also suggested to look into the water pump. He said the same labor can be used to fix the pump as well if it is also worn out, and hence I can save money in labor. Is it common practice

I put down a $100 deposit from a dealer on a 1999 tacoma V6 extended cab with 100,000 miles on it. I have a mechanic check it out, and the only problem I am concerned with is the tailgate does not work. I am paying $10,400.00 for the truck. I know that is in line with

| 98 Tacoma 4x4 headlight warning alarm | 16 Apr 2007 07:47 GMT | 1 |
The headlight warning alarm on my always reliable 1998 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 XtraCab has ceased to function. I didn't think it much of a problem, but after leaving the headlights on three times and the battery NFG, I guess it's time to figure out what the problem is...
