1992 Pickup Brake Service Help!!!16 Apr 2007 04:05 GMT8
My 1992 22RE Standard cab 4x4 brakes appears to be making the
wear-indicator noise.  This metallic scratchy noise disappears when I
step on the brakes.   Odometer is at 77,xxx miles.  I purchased this
vehicle used at 36,xxx miles.
Could it be the brake booster?14 Apr 2007 15:32 GMT9
Toyota pickup, 1987 2WD 22R engine.  At a stop light the brake pedal
slowly (1 min. or less) goes to the floor.  I obtained and installed a
rebuilt master cylinder and bleed the entire system.  The pedal still
sinks to the floor.  Let's assume the rebuilt replacement is OK.  I am
Drive indicator light14 Apr 2007 03:44 GMT1
I have an 03 Tundra.  The "Drive" indicator light on the dashboard went out.
The Park, Reverse, 2 and L all seem fine.  Is this an indication of a
problem or should I just ignore it.  Also, if I choose to, is it an
expensive repair?

Reliability & capability?06 Apr 2007 09:34 GMT1
I'm looking for a reliable 4x4 compact truck on a budget with enough
room to be comfortable for short $.  From what I gather, if you want a
small 4x4 truck to go many many miles while spending some time off
road, the Toyota is the way to go, followed closely by the Nissan.

Unforntunately I had to drive about 30 hard miles (mountain trails) to
get back to civilization. I'm pretty sure I've fried the motor. It's

What the heck is the function of the ECT button on my car. When do I use it?

Also, when do I turn the OD off? I think I am supposed to turn it off in snow,
