Low tire Pressure light??31 Jul 2007 12:43 GMT13
Just bought a 2004 Toyota 4runner Limited.  4 Brand new tires.
Looking at the tires, they all look fully inflated.  I noticed the
"low tire pressure light" on in the dashboard.  Any suggestions on
getting rid of this light?  Anyway to reset??  Thanks in advance.
Replace rings on nearly overheated 22RE?31 Jul 2007 03:08 GMT7
My truck (208k on it) recently ended up with water in the oil. Looks
like the timing chain bit through the jacket because of broken guides.
I've already got the head to the machine shop, and am taking the
opportunity to do the timing chain and all the gaskets of course, but

Everything was fine until Saturday: Driving down the highway at about 65 MPH
when I start feeling jerks that make it feel like my truck is pulling a
trailer.

My 2001 Tacoma V-6 leaks water from under the dash into the footwells
when the AC is run for a while. Any ideas where this is coming from
and how to fix? Thanks.

1992 4runner Preventive Maintenance28 Jul 2007 08:30 GMT4
My son has a 1992 4runner V6, automatic with 156k on the odometer.  He
got it with 142 and has replaced the timing belt, water pump and power
steering pump.
He is going to college 1600 miles away.  Beyond checking the brakes,
2002 Tacoma crew-cab: Front brakes27 Jul 2007 07:48 GMT6
Is there known issues with them getting pulsey/worn easily.  I had my
original rotors turned at ~45K, replaced at ~60K, and it seems here at
~65K I'm starting to feel a little subtle pulsing again.  I haul a bit
of a load once in a while (few hundred lbs), but never tow.  Just
SERV REQD26 Jul 2007 17:15 GMT11
My '05 Tundra flashed the 'SERV REQD' light for about 15 seconds after
starting the truck.  What does this indicate?  The truck has 32000 miles on
it.

I have a rattle in the driver's door since new. I'm debating whether to go
after it myself or have the dealer look at it. I'm afraid I'll break
something if I try to remove the door panel myself. I can easily pull the

Anyone ever change this bulb.  How much pain involved?  Do I have to pull

popping sound?25 Jul 2007 02:54 GMT9
I have a 93 4runner, and when ever I turn the steering wheel all the way left
or right, I hear a loud popping noise.  Anyone know what that could be?

Plug broke-off in head, now what??24 Jul 2007 16:14 GMT6
I took my truck into the dealer and they got am error code indicating
something wrong in #3 cylinder. The mechanic said the plug broke off
while he was trying to remove it. It broke mid thread on the plug so
that half of the lower metal part of the plug is still in the head. He
1999 Toyota Tacoma V6 versus Prerunner V622 Jul 2007 15:46 GMT8
I'm looking at possibly buying a late 90"s Toyota Tacoma V6, or a
Prerunner V6.  Is there any difference in gas mileage in these 2
trucks with the same 3.0 liter V6 engine with 5 speed manual
transmission?  I also plan on doing some hauling of around 2,000 to
TRD22 Jul 2007 04:56 GMT6
Hi;
Can someone explain exactly what Toyota does to a truck to give it the "TRD"
classification? I'm looking to purchase a used Tundra and just want to know
what constitutes the Toyota Racing Development price difference.
