| t100 auto trans filter change: anyone done it? | 19 Aug 2007 03:53 GMT | 3 |
I just bought a used 1995 T100 4wd with automatic transmission. I've decided to change automatic transmission fluid and filter. Has anyone out there done this? There's a stabilizer bar in the way of removing the transmission pan.

| 2002 3.0 Liter V6 (1MZ-FE engine) erratic idle (ie no idle >>> dies) | 19 Aug 2007 00:03 GMT | 2 |
I am sporadically experiencing a problem with the no idle. This has happened a couple of times during the past couple of months. Each time it would last a day or two then the problem goes away. When this does happen if I let off the gas the engine would die. Even

| Advice needed for O2 sensor in 4cyl 1992 Toyota Pickup | 18 Aug 2007 02:37 GMT | 2 |
My 92, 4 cyl pickup ran well until the O2 sensor in front of the converter rusted out and the wires fell across the exhaust pipe. It suddenly stopped running. It won't start. The mechanic I had it towed to, said that it should start even if the O2 sensor was burned out. It ...

| Locating my Oil leaks | 17 Aug 2007 02:34 GMT | 7 |
Ok, before i begin, i must tell you my automotive knowledge of the oil system is limited, and this is as far as i have come along. When I bought my 82 pickup, I was told it leaked oil. I soon found, when driving it every day, it actually leaked worse than when it sat.

| Been Test Driving Used Tacomas | 16 Aug 2007 19:41 GMT | 1 |
I am in the market for a used 2006, 2005, or 2004 Tacoma. Are there any known 'issues' with these model years? I have done some research already, but what is your opinion? Anything in particular I should watch for?

| PCV Valve Replacement 1982 22R | 16 Aug 2007 08:28 GMT | 10 |
I (unsuccessfully) tried to replace my pcv valve on my 1982 22R for the second time today. I had a hot engine, hot day (90°), oil around the gasket, vice grips on the valve, and a crow-bar prying up, no luck. It just will not budge. Turning it while pulling does not help

| 98 4runner problem | 14 Aug 2007 07:36 GMT | 2 |
My 98 4runner has a minor (but annoying) problem. The cig. lighter/ accessory plug-in has stopped working. I checked the fuses under the dash and under the hood and they all appear to be OK. The owner's manual really does not do a very good job saying which fuse operates

| Tacoma spare tire | 13 Aug 2007 18:50 GMT | 3 |
Help all. When I bought my '03 Tacoma Pre it didn't come with the tire changing tools, only the jack. I checked with my local dealer to see what tools I'd need and compared them to the device under the truck that lowers the tire and they don't match! The parts book says the ...

| Frame Rust on Toyota Tacoma's | 13 Aug 2007 14:31 GMT | 9 |
There seems to be a common problem with Toyota trucks. FRAME RUST! I own a 99 SR5 4x4 with Extracab that has 130,000+ miles on it. The body is great. The truck runs great. It still has the original exhaust system. The frame is rotting away like you wouldn't believe.

Overheating but driving fast cooled it off immediatly. (Oh, right: '94 4runner 6cyl. auto/air). Squeezed the upper hose and felt flow when letting go = pump might be ok. Got pricing on new fan clutch but I
