added freon to a/c and all was working well. let it run awhile then
was backing out of drive way and the a/c shutdown, clutch and blower
stopped working.  no blown fuses.  could a relay cause this if so
where would it be located?

I'm replacing the timing belt on my 2001, 3.4L, 4x2 Toyota Tacoma, and I'
not quite sure about one and probably the most important detail. I'm usin
a Chilton's shop manual and I understand all that it's directing me to do
except when I install the tensioner the timing marks on the ...

I un-staked the axle nut using a chisel.  When removing the nut it
stripped the treads on the axle.
What is the best way to prevent this?

Hello, I have a 2000 Tundra that coming home today the low fuel light
came on as the needle dropped a little below empty. I stopped right
after it came on and put 20 bucks in which put it on a 1/4 tank. The
light still stayed on so I added another 10 bucks worth and drove on

I was also surprised to find out that people were already using this

When adjusting timing on an 22R-E engine without a timing light do you
rotate the crank pulley until the notch is at 0 degrees BDTC and make
sure the rotor on the distributor cap points to spark plug # 1 on the
distributor cap?.

Can someone tell me if it is possible to know if a vehicle is a 2X4 or 4X
from the VIN number considering a Highlaner model for instance

I have an '07 Taco, V-6, 5 sp. auto.............when I go down a steep hill
and tap the brakes, the tranny downshifts, it is a very light downshift so I
am assuming that it is just dropping our of OD into 4th?
