If I use Castrol 5w30 here, is it okay change oil every 10,000 miles?

I'm thinking about replacing the stereo in my 2000 Tacoma extended cab 4WD. It,
of course, came with the dual cassette-CD deck and I would like to replace it
with the same; a "double-height"model. Crutchfield shows only one model, a JVC,
and the great thing about ordering from them ...

1991 SR5 auto 4x4... is it difficult for a novice to pull the cluster
and replace the speedo gears? Is it even worth it? Do most people
replace the gears or replace the whole cluster? Thanks for any input.

Need to know the location and what it looks like.  My horn died and I am
being led in this direction to have a look at it.
