| removing stock stereo from a 2005 toyota matrix? | 27 May 2005 14:32 GMT | 2 |
Hi there, I had two initial upgrades planned for my 2005 toyota matrix. The first being a bolt-on sports rack (solved, see earlier post) and the second is replacing the stock stereo. My question is simple, how does one remove the stock stereo from the Toyota matrix? Doesn't look

Went to look at new camry to replace my wifes 1991 with 175,000. The car is stll in tip top shape, and still drives and handles like it did over a decade ago. Anyway, on looking at new camrys, we found that the room

| Sienna Oil Leak | 27 May 2005 04:09 GMT | 2 |
At about 100k miles, my 2000 Sienna developed rear main seal leak. Quite expensive repair by dealer. None off the other Toys that I have owned over the years ever had such a problem.

To all Toyota gurus, I own a 1993 Toyota Corolla, 1.8L automatic with 96000 miles. I believe I have a starter or solenoid problem. Sometimes it will turn over and sometimes not. There is no clicking noise, and the car will

99 Avalon, about 53K miles. Had to change front rotors at about 24K miles because the steering wheel shook when braking at highway speeds. Now seeing the same symptoms again. I'm thinking of using rotors that are a little more heavy-duty. Any suggestions? I have heard about

| Toyota should use my son as its vehicle tester... | 26 May 2005 19:37 GMT | 24 |
My son was driving my Echo today, and some mook jumped in front of him, causing Craig to slam the horn. Unfortunately, the horn kept on blowing! His friend cut the wire, so now we have to get that fixed. I said to Craig, (And this is an *exact* quote) "Only YOU could f.ck up a

| Our Scion XA is officially a Toyota product... | 26 May 2005 14:31 GMT | 4 |
I had to go to Patrick AFB in Cocoa Beach, FL today, and on the way back, the Scion ripped a sulfuric fart for the first time. It was a special moment. *sniff* I'm so proud! ;-)

| One thing I've noticed about the Scion XA... | 26 May 2005 00:41 GMT | 55 |
.... it hasn't emitted that sulfuric fart that all of our other Toyotas do - could it be that Toyota fixed that problem, or is it because the car has less than 100 miles on it?

| Recalibrate Speedometer for larger tires? | 25 May 2005 22:47 GMT | 12 |
I'm going up from 175's to 185's on the Corolla -- seems like that will make my speedometer be under some, which is a big deal. Should I get my speedometer recalibrated after I swap the tires?

| Order a Sienna from factory, still stuck with options packages? | 25 May 2005 21:27 GMT | 6 |
Has anyone ordered a Sienna from the factory? I see from previous threads that this can be done with other Toyotas, and that in any case you're not REALLY ordering a car from the factory, just initiating a dealer search for a vehicle that matches your request. Can that be

| bolt on sports rack for toyota matrix? | 25 May 2005 19:11 GMT | 9 |
Hi there, I just purchased a 2005 toyota matrix and I wanted to know if anyone installed a 'factory' roof rack to the matrix? I would like to avoid using Yakima "clips" and instead have a rack system that is permanently mounted to the roof... Yakima does sell a bolt-on track
