Just wondering if there is any issue with having Thule type racks
with a moonroof?

Has anyone fitted a CD into a Yaris, we are told only Toyota's model will
fit but at £300 that's too much. Can anyone help please as to which unit if
any will fit and what we need in the way of adaptor cables etc.

It may seem like a superfluous question, but what is the best way of
calculating what mmg yuor vehicle is getting? I have my miles reading
of course, and I can record how much gas I put in,  but there was some
gas already there in the tank, and how do I know what was traveled on

2003 Corolla, 34,000 miles, drive belt squeaking when engine is
cold-started.  Dealer said tensioner was bad and belt was fine, replaced
tensioner under warranty.  Three days later, belt again squeals when
cold-started.

I have a 1997 Corolla with ~72k miles on it (7AFE engine).  Went in for
emissions testing today, and it failed because the OBD system was
inoperable.  The OBD system did not respond to the checks/tests.  The
check-engine light does light up when the key is in the ON position,

Just recently bought a (nearly-) new RAV4 (mod. 3003).
When I open the door with the contact key left in place, it makes an
ugly and insistent beep noise.
I like to listen to the radio from outside, eg while I clean the car

The service station manager claims that the "check engine" light was
due to a faulty O2 sensor in my '02 Sienna XLE.  Says the list price on
that sensor is $395, plus $100 labor for installation.  (Vehicle is out
of warranty).  Is his cost outrageous, or is that what any dealer ...

IS there any news about a redesign of the spyder in the near future?

My 71 year old FIL  paid $1500 today  to replace a steering rack in an
'02 Prius that's 3 1/2 months out of warranty.
The car has 27k on the clock and is literally driven to church on

series) auto.  The timing belt has broken.  When replacing valve timing belt
where should timing marks be aligned to, both top and bottom pulley.  I did
have a manual, but lent it to "friend" who has now ...
