Does anyone know why my 1990 4Runner's overdrive off light would be flashing? Where would I get the error code if there is one? My Haynes manual only talks about the engine light error codes. Thanks.

My daughters dropping off her 98 Corolla for a starter contact rebuild. (if we can find the part) this weekend. Lucky me... I have plenty of socket extensions and flexable joints to get at the bolts. If I remember its under the exhastmanifold??? Pretty tight...

What are the methods car thieves use to steal Camarys. What a good deterrents? My car has PermaVIN, which is the VIN etched in all the windows, does it do any good? Why are Camrys so high on the desirability list and are LEs with 4 cylinder engines in that group?

I had changed the cabin filter in my Highlander several times... Always have had dealer do the Avalon one. So, bought both, Highlander takes maybe 5 minutes. Remove 5 screws around glove box on Avalon as instructions from Bosch
