05 Camry Floor Mats ?02 Jun 2005 11:45 GMT4
The Toyota dealer here has a charge of about $184 for 4 floor mats and one
trunk mat.  The floor mats look great but the trunk mat looks like it was a
carpet scrap sewn in someone's basement or garage, really pretty disgusting
for the price, no logo just edging that was crooked. ...

Future Toyota rebates?02 Jun 2005 00:05 GMT6
There's a current Toyota rebate that expires on Tuesday, and we're
considering a Sienna but don't want to be rushed about it.  Based on
past experience, how likely is it that Toyota will have another $1,000
rebate?  Do they tend to offer them at year's end to move the current

Checking valve clearances on '99 Tercel01 Jun 2005 14:00 GMT18
The Tercel has just over 60K miles on it, and so far as I can tell from
dealer records, the valve clearances have never been inspected.
The factory manual specifes that "packing" be used when replacing the valve
cover, and even gives a part number. What is this "packing"? And what ...

washable air filter01 Jun 2005 04:35 GMT7
I recently purchased a used 2002 Celica GTS and have noticed the installed
air filter appears to be a washable type.  It is a TRD filter, red rubber
frame, filter media has mesh on either side.  The filter appears to be in
good condition but I figured I should find out the proper ...

Blue flashing LED in 2005 Corolla01 Jun 2005 02:37 GMT3
My father-in-law recently purchased a 2005 Corolla.  He's got the
dealer installed in-dash nav system.  I think it's the Pioneer.
Anyway, there's also a small black box, about an inch square with a
LED screwed into the bottom of the dash, near the steering column,
2005 Toyota timing chain ?01 Jun 2005 02:07 GMT5
The Camry salesman tells me that the 4 cylinder LE has a chain that needs to
be changed at 90,000 miles?  Is this correct?
tnx
Hank
