I just took my first look at the Avalon at a dealer. It's a 2005 model, very nice. I asked the salesperson when the 2006 model year Avalon will arrive. He said it won't come out until around January 2006, since the 2005 Avalon just came out a few months ago.

Had some work done 6 or so weeks ago and just now noticed that the trans fluid is way too high up on the stick. It's maybe half again as high as it should be. Maybe twice as high even. How bad is this for the transmission??

TSB TC001-02 dated 5/24/02 deaals with automatic transmission fluid requirments. Does anybody know what it says? I have a 2002 Sienna, but from what I could find out on the web, this TSB covers a lot of other Toyota vehicles in the same general time period.
