I just took my first look at the Avalon at a dealer. It's a 2005 model,
very nice. I asked the salesperson when the 2006 model year Avalon will

01 Camry is displaying check engine.  Code read was P0446 evaporative
Emission Control System Vent Control Malfunction. Tech at the
dealership says 90% of the time it is a problem with a VSV.
Pulled the VSV from the air filter housing.  Ohm reading is what Haynes

Had some work done 6 or so weeks ago and just now noticed that the
trans fluid is way too high up on the stick. It's maybe half again as
high as it should be. Maybe twice as high even.
How bad is this for the transmission??

Saw it at a tire dealer, so I assume they are inflating tires with it.

I hate it that the auto unlock of door locks is activated when ignition is
turned off and/or when shifting in Park. Well, I followed (so many times)
the directions in the manual and all it happens is that it does NOT cancel
the auto unlocking of buttons. Would a dealer do it for ...

OK here’s the deal, I work on vehicles but i have NEVER rethreaded
something.  My 1981 Toyota 2WD pick up deceided to have a bolt crack.
The bolt is located on the thermostat housing.  The bolt cracked down
the shaft (threads) and was able to release part of the bolt but not

TSB TC001-02 dated 5/24/02 deaals with automatic transmission fluid
requirments.  Does anybody know what it says?  I have a 2002 Sienna,
but from what I could find out on the web, this TSB covers a lot of
other Toyota vehicles in the same general time period.

My Highlander ",aint reqe" light is ON.  I know what it mean.  Does anyone know
how to turn it off?
