Corolla trunk cargo net30 Jul 2005 00:04 GMT2
Just bought a 2005 Corolla LE and would like some way to strap down
stuff I put in the trunk like grocery bags.  It seems like there are
no hooks to connect bungee cords or a cargo net to.  What are my options?
I couldn't find anything at Kragen.
front wheel strange, loud sound29 Jul 2005 23:23 GMT15
1996 Toyota Corolla. We have been getting this incredibly disturbing
noise coming from what appears to be the left front area of the car.
The only way I can describe it is "God awful," like all hell broke
loose (sorry for the language). It only shows up after the engine is
Yaris Cassette Carstero29 Jul 2005 19:42 GMT3
I'm looking for it. Can You help me?
Posting hiccoup?29 Jul 2005 18:08 GMT3
I had a number of messages that I show here as sent to the group, but I had
to repost them this morning.
The server kept asking for my password.  Usually it doesn't bother.  I
presume it's having an issue with keeping my password straight  I've got so
Keyless remote disaster!29 Jul 2005 17:18 GMT11
Help!  I really got myself into it good.  My wife lost both remotes
(don't ask me how!) to her 2001 Camry.  I ordered two new ones and
followed the instructions.  I'd done this once before, successfully,
and it involves a complex sequence of turning the key on and off
Is 4E-FE engine non-interference?29 Jul 2005 05:46 GMT1
Does anyone know if the 4E-FE engine as used in some Starlets is a
non-interference engine - i.e. the valves don't hit the pistons if the
timing belt fails?
'01 Camry Sunroof29 Jul 2005 04:11 GMT1
Can anyone tell me where the adjustments are on the sunroof of this
vehicle? The repair manual I have doesn't even address a sunroof.
Mine is bound up and will not go in either direction. The motor still
works. I can hear it.
Location of the fuse for radio/cigarette lighter for 2000 Corolla?28 Jul 2005 19:28 GMT3
I used an air pump a bit too long a few days ago, and blew up the fuse
for the radio/clock/cigarette lighter for my 2000 Corolla CE.
I heard that the internal fuses are located near the left end of
instrument panel(=dash board), but I cannot find it.
"Mystery" part28 Jul 2005 17:44 GMT1
Here's a tough one to describe without a photo.  I have a '96 Tercel,
4-speed manual transmission.  On the top of the transaxle housing there
is a rubber "boot."  It sits directly adjacent to what I *think* is the
clutch slave cylinder.  Anybody know what this boot is covering?
WAY, WAYYYYY OT: It's about effing TIME!28 Jul 2005 17:08 GMT16
I've been net-less for the past week, and let me tell you - I had no idea
that I was so spoiled. LOL
Besides mindless chatter with you lot, I didn't realize how much I used the
damned computer, checking on my accounts, looking things up, and paying
A/C Previa Question28 Jul 2005 16:57 GMT1
What would cause A/C coolant to not be drawn into the system during
recharging?  I tried recharging my A/C system, since it is completely dry,
but the compressor would not engage and the coolant was being pushed back
thus escaping from the can.  The Previa is a '92 and the A/C ...
Corolla 2001 Problem. Can you help?28 Jul 2005 16:39 GMT2
My 2001 Corolla LE has 63000 miles on it, and upon accelerating on the on
ramp of the freeway, the Engine light sometimes come on. My OBDII says it
is a P0171, which is lean fuel. The problem is intermittent and I can get
it to clear with my OBDII. But, the next day when the ...
'95 Previa air conditioner recharge28 Jul 2005 14:42 GMT8
I'm trying to locate the low-pressure port of my "95 Previa air
conditioning system to add some 134-A refrigerant .  I've already had the
van in to the local Toyota mechanic and received a $1350 diagnosis
requiring a new dryer and compressor.  They claim it will not hold a
Check Engine Light on 96 corolla. Please help!28 Jul 2005 07:26 GMT5
Hello everyone. Hope all is well. All was well with me until about 6:30am
yesterday morning. I was riding down the street in my corolla and the car
started acting like it was losing pep and was going to stall. Meanwhile
the check engine light started to flash on and off. Finally the ...
