Supra Misfire Problem21 Jul 2005 02:41 GMT8

misfire on the #6 cylinder. I have changed plugs and plug wires with
the same result. In testing, if I swap 2 plugs (even while warm) it
Cracked block: Is it OK?21 Jul 2005 02:24 GMT10
I'm replacing the head gasket on my '85 Toyota and while I was

between two coolant passageways behind (closet to the cylinders) the
head bolt on the exhaust side between the number 4 and 5 cylinders.

Previa disc brake wear20 Jul 2005 16:01 GMT2
I discovered that the inner disc pad on the right front wheel of my
Previa is completely worn down, while the outer pad is still meaty and
thick. I replaced them all about a year ago. Does this probably mean
the piston is stuck (not retracting) and the caliper needs a rebuild,

Smoking underneath20 Jul 2005 03:30 GMT3
Just bought a 94 tercel for my teen.  The car is in excellent physical

(an hour drive at 65 mph), I noticed smoke coming from under the car near
the rear.  When I got down and looked at it, there is an oily ...

Saw where Tire Rack gave them generally good marks, aside from
complaints about soft side walls/rubbery handling if pushed hard.
I was thinking about putting a set on my 03 Camry SE, and would like
your feedback if you have these tires, especially if they are on a

Question about replacing struts20 Jul 2005 00:37 GMT4
Open question: I own a Toyota Avalon with 95,000 miles. Great car.
Just replaced tires. The car overall rides and steers good but at
times when passing over a pothole or manhole cover the car really
bangs down hard with a bone jarring bump.

Sienna when in [D] no pickup power :(19 Jul 2005 19:14 GMT8
Hello all dear fellow Sienna'ers
I wonder if I got something wrong here. The Sienna we are driving does not
