got Sienna at 13 miles new, but not driving straight19 Jul 2005 19:01 GMT8
The Sienna we got had just 13 milres on it (why not less?..), well, one
problem so far, while driving it it pulls to the left. The tire shop put
even pressure in all tires but the problem of pulling to the left while
driving is still there. What should be done to be fixed by ...

Over the last few months, the temperature in my tercel has slowly been
climbing..  If I get into it and it's cold, it only takes about 10-15
minutes of any type of driving to get it up to just a smidge under the

Heavy fuel consumption19 Jul 2005 02:13 GMT23
Toyota Picnic: 2 litre 4 cyl engine, auto tans. Rated at about 35 mpg, doing
low 20s mpg. 64,000 miles.  The plugs look fine and the exhaust doesn't look
too black.  There is new oil and air filter.  No apparent reason for the
heavy fuel consumption, except one: front right hand ...

98 Starlet drivers seat f***ed!19 Jul 2005 00:57 GMT7
Basic question is: Is there a cheap way to fix the drivers side seat?
The support bars are poking out on both sides of the seat, they appear to
have rubbed through the upholstery and are now just under the fabric. One
side just beginning to show a hole.

I have a 97 Camry that the clock and the remote mirrors have stopped

something like that??
Paseo Passenger side mirror19 Jul 2005 00:52 GMT1
I live by a highschool and some punk knocked out the passenger side
mirror. I got the mirror glass but when I looked closer they also got
the backing plate. Anyone know how available these are or if there is

Check engine light18 Jul 2005 22:49 GMT1
I have 2001 Prism.  This morning I noticed that the check engine light
was on.  We have had exceptionally hot, humid weather the last few days
(the remnants of hurricane Dennis).  I took it in to VIP Auto this
afternoon and they put the scanner on the car.  It indicated a code 496
A/C question18 Jul 2005 20:24 GMT17
The A/C in my 2003 Corolla got weaker today (the cold was not as cold as
it normally is)..  The weather in NJ was about 85 and very humid.
My question is: Can the A/C ice up the way a home A/C can?  If so what
is probable cause and fix?
Asbestos in Toyota brake linings?18 Jul 2005 18:16 GMT4
I've been reading conflicting info saying asbestos was banned (in
general) in the U.S. in 1989, but is still used in various brake
linings because of industry protests. Many mechanics are apparently
unaware it's still there. I try not to inhale the fine brown/black dust
Query: A/C drain location on 95 Prizm18 Jul 2005 17:21 GMT2
I have a 95 Geo Prizm. After I've had the A/C on, and when I turn a
corner, either my foot or my passenger's foot gets sloshed with cold
water. I'm told that this is because the drain is clogged. Where is
this drain and how do I get to it? I pulled up a bit of carpet on the

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a problem I'm having

A few days ago whilst driving along in the nice sunshine, the fan
blowing outside air decided to stop. I'm pretty sure it stopped and
Slight Hesitation / Loss of Power17 Jul 2005 04:35 GMT2
I have a 96 Corolla (5 speed) and sometimes I feel this slight
miss or drop out when I'm driving at a constant speed.  It is really
only noticeable at slower speeds (50 - 70 km/h) and not on the highway.
I posted before with similiar problems that were more severe and
